Liked: Location. Room and bedding were all very clean, as were the bathroom facilities. Pub downstairs was great.

Disliked: - no towels available on check-in. Noticed this ebb and flow of towels numerous times during my stay. Given that renting towels is an advertised feature and I purposely did not bring a towel because of it, and needed to shower after my journey, this is not good enough. - internet was down for most of the time I was there. Found the staff to be nonchalant at times - they didn't apologise for lack of services, didn't offer suggestions as to where else you could find internet in the area, were not forthcoming with information in general...have had much more genuinely friendly service in other places.

Liked: good location, close to galleries, good pubs, tube link, nice area.good value for money.

Liked: The hostel was in a very good location, you could walk to a lot of the sites, but there was also a subway station nearby.

Disliked: We had a lot of problems with our keys. You needed to swipe your room key to get into the hostel and then once again to get to your room. When we swiped our key to get into the hostel it would let us in, but then once we tried to get into the room the key no longer worked.

Liked: the hostel is under minor construction. the smell is bad and the room is full of dirt.The bar under the hostel has too much noise.The room is small and hardly can we sit.We just sit on the floor.But the location is good,near underground.

Liked: The location of reception is not the building I stayed, so I had to come back to the reception for breakfast in the morning and leave my luggage there. Also, the shower is awful. You need to keep pushing the bottom for water coming out. It's really unconvenient.

Liked: The location of the hostel was really good. We did have several small issues though. The key cards wouldn't work this took over an hour to resolve. The showers and toilets photos on hostel bookers were by and large very inaccurate. The showers were tiny and a little dirty.

Liked: The inn is small, no elevators and few bathrooms. as the reception is somewhere else, noone tells you were you can find the instalations.

Liked: I stayed at the St. Christopher's Inn in Southwark (December '09) in a 4-bed room. The bedroom was comfortable and beds seemed clean enough. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to sleep with the amount of noise from the alley outside and the pub downstairs.The bathrooms certainly left something to be desired - pretty tiny and not 100% clean. One morning I ended up using the pub bathroom to brush my teeth, etc (yuck) due to the state of the bathroom in the hostel.Staff was friendly, check-in and out was great.Decent place to stay, just set your expectations appropriately as a hostel with decent rooms with too much noise, a good staff, and sub-par bathrooms.

Liked: Really good hostel, great location near to Southwark Cathedral, Borough Market, London Bridge... Free walking tour was excellent. Really noisy in our room one night from the bar downstairs but it was good indie music and to be expected on a friday night so not really a complaint :p Overall very impressed, would recommend!

Liked: There is a bar on the first floor, where you can eat and drink anytime. They have parties every evening - it's a great place to meet new people.
