Greenwich is a tranquil sanctuary within the city limits of hectic London and it's steeped in history, science and great naval traditions. The easiest way to reach us is by train from London Bridge station. When you reach Greenwich head through the underpass and towards the station forecourt. The St Christopher's youth hostel is located about 20 meters away on your left hand side. For a more scenic approach you can take a boat along the River Thames or jump on the Docklands Light Railway.
St Christopher's in Greenwich offers you a true home away from home. Mix up some friendly, international, backpacking staff, a cozy chill-out room, authentic English Bangers n' Mash and wash it down with a crisp ale to create the perfect stay. Other key ingredients inside our humble abode include the fantastic Greenwich Playhouse, where hostellers can grab discount tickets to see some of the best up and coming players around. There's also a fantastic line up of bar crawls, beach parties and a great choice of accommodation. Choose from a private twin, a six bed mixed dorm, a six bed female only dorm and an 8 bed mixed dorm.
Once you've settled in the best way to explore this great neighborhood is on foot. Take a Sunday stroll to the Greenwich Markets, pop down to the Greenwich Pier for a tour of the Naval College and visit the infamous Cutty Sark. On a clear day a trip to the Royal Observatory is well worth with it. From here you get some of the best views over London and you can check out the Prime Meridian, dividing the east and west hemispheres or the Millennium Clock. On a lazy day take a walk to the Greenwich Park. This is the oldest Royal Park and dates back to 1433. Greenwich Park is also home to the Queen's House - the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I.
Important note: Please be aware that you must show a photo I.D when you arrive. We only accept Passports or a Driving License as I.D. Guests under the age of 18 years of age must stay in a private room with guardians they can not share in general dormitory rooms with persons that are not part of their own group or family. Under 18s are not allowed the bars or pubs. CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation policy: if you don’t turn up for the first night, the amount of 1st nights will be charged to your credit/debit card and all other reservations/nights will be cancelled.
Thank you for your co-operation.
