Liked: Very good location at least it was clean and worth the price!!

Disliked: 24 people shared one bathroom and one toilet, and the toilet was out of order, resulting in going to other toilets on other floors. Noisy because we were sleeping in the basement and our room was next to the kitchen and dining room

Disliked: on top of our initial payment there was obviously going to be a room deposit. but they failed to tell us this until on the day and it cost us an extra 60 pounds. if they had told us earlier it would have been easier to sort out but apart from that it was fine

Liked: location is good, close to oxford street and hyde park is just a couple of minutes away

Disliked: it's not very clean and the bed linen smells really bad... the showers are pretty much horrible. and they have rooms in the basement, so it's kind of dodgy anyway...

Liked: Cheap and near from the city centre :)

Disliked: U have to make your bed on your own.U have to give them 10 pund for that okay you give that back but u need cash -.- It was really dirrty and the breakfast was a joke. Just bread, butter and one jam in a glass. I have no idea wich type i didn´t eat anything. Just a glass of milk.

Liked: Staff were friendly and the hostel was easy to find.

Disliked: I booked to stay in a 5 bed girls' room but when I checked in the room actually had space for 9 people - as the room was not full this wasn't really an issue and did not affect my enjoyment of the property.

Liked: The location. The fact that it was on sale and so cheap was the only reason I stayed there, I would NEVER pay what they usually charge. The beds have curtains around them (but no lights which is stupid)

Disliked: Everything else. Its absolutely disgusting, dirt everywhere. The decor is dingy and horrible. The internet only works in a tiny cramped room that is always full. There's no heating in the dorms. The breakfast is really poor and the hygiene standards are extremely low. The bathrooms are filthy and there aren't enough of them, and no space or places to hang anything in them. Half the showers don't work. The staff are unhelpful, chatting on the phone with people and not even acknowlegding you. There are hardly any powerpoints in the rooms and there's also hardly any space. It feels incredibly seedy too. For some reason a much larger than usualpeprcentage of the other people staying had terrible manners too-things like turning on the lights when they come in at 2AM etc.

Liked: Location, close to 2 train stations

Disliked: Shower facilities, very poor water quality and number of showers limited. Very small rooms for number of beds, no storage area in rooms. Long term guest seem to take over dormitories.

Liked: Friendly staff and nice environment. Great location too.

Disliked: Shower facilities were poor, water was repeatedly cut during the day due to building works going on.

Liked: it is good and quite location.... realy only one minute from tube

Liked: The helpfull staff, the central location close to the Queensway and Bayswater underground stations and Hyde Park.

Disliked: The breakfast is lacking alternatives to toast with butter and sugar or jam or cornflakes with milk. The lack of water pressure in the showers made it very difficult to wash your hair. Also the descent from upper beds would have been easier with a railing.

Liked: The location next to Hyde Park in Bayswater is lovely and it is only a shortish walk into Oxford St. Also the curtains around beds are a very good idea they make you feel far more private.

Disliked: The kitchen had one cup, one chopping board, a saucpan, a fry pan and about three plates total equipment; other stuff was available from reception if you were prepared to leave a deposit but this was a little annoying. Staff were rather lackluster.

Liked: Location - close to undergroun, busses, Hyde Park and Ocford St.

Disliked: Wi-Fi was terrible. Breakfast was terrible Rooms could use some shelves, hooks or rods to hand things.

Liked: Good location - near Hyde Park and the Tube (Central, Circle and District line). You've also got 2 supermarkets (Sainsbury's and Tesco) and all the main food chains (McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Starbucks ..)

Disliked: The walls are extremely thin, so it's difficult to fall asleep at night, because you can hear everything.

Liked: Nothing (it was that bad)

Disliked: NEVER GOING BACK! - Staff very unfriendly - hotel manager even more unfriendly (and rude). Most of guests are unhappy and look for another accommodation. there are no plates or silvery in the kitchen (you get those against a deposit at the reception) - You also only get a hairdryer against a deposit at the reception - plugs only in the hallways - Kitchen dirty - old fridges always full - They let people gather in front of the hotel - so it's extremely loud in the rooms looking to the front of the hotel. I travel a lot and this was the first time I had such a negative experience.
