Liked: a nice place to stay in camden, it lies very central in the middle of camden town, you can reach all 'interesting' places by just walking there, the staff is friendly and nice and it's always someone there for 24h/day.

Liked: This was the WORST hostel ever! Stuff isn't helpful at all. Very bossy and arrogant. You pay 1,50 pound per day to keep your locker safe and they deliberately open it without any consense, moves people in other bedrooms without notice AT ALL. The only thing that doesn't sucks is the location.FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!

Liked: Apart from the hostel being in a great location near Camden Town tube station, it is absolutly rubbish.The bathroom had no cold water for the sink, the shower was freezing and a door had fell off. Our 4 bed dorm was boiling all the time as the radiator seemed incapable of turning off.The staff were not very helpful, only really seemed interested in getting money out of us. There's a 5% tax that you have to pay on arrival which was the first thing the guy said to us. Also, it seemed that any key could open any room, as there was a guy in our dorm when we got there and somebody tried getting into our room one morning.I seriously would never consider staying here again. It was more like a prison than a hostel!

Liked: The place is really in the Camden Area,good to go out. The rooms are not clean and very small. The matrass was not confortable and not clean.Linen are the same of the train couchette. The window of the room didn't close properly,so a cold stream of air entered.The kitchen was in average dirty and the hotplates didn't warm as much as to cook food. The breakfast was poor. The bathrooms were ok but the showers were not clean and COLD. Staff didn't help us in finding places around.They simply didn't kwon. We asked to leave the luggage for 2 hours after the check out and the guy refused. I would not recommend this place at all.

Liked: I liked the location - it's the nearest place to the center that you could get for the price. But this is the only good point about it. The rooms are ridiciously small and you suppose to share it with others... I am glad we were four and got 4 bed dorm just for ourselves, otherwise it would be very unconfortable as you can not pass the room without bamping into eachother or somebody's locker. The room, sheets and showers were really clean, but the matresses and pillows seemed like they were used for centuries :))) Breakfast - not worth waking up between 7:30 to 9:30 :)) and check out at 10 a.m. is the worst... Recomendation - don't stay there alone, but if you are with group of friends and on low budget - go ahead, the location will compensate it all ;) ! P.S. Note, that the price does not include VAT...

Liked: Good location and good security. Beware of extra 15% VAT to pay when you get there, not sure why it isn't just upfront on this site to begin with instead of being in fine print.

Liked: Not much to be honest. It was cheap, thats all I can say, but i suppose you get what you pay for. When I arrived, I had to pay a £10 deposit for the key when when I went to pay, would only take cash, things like this could be mentioned on the site, as I rolled up expecting to pay the remainder on my card.

Liked: There was internet and Laundry but you had to pay extra, as was a locker. The kitchen/dining area was tiny, and couldn't accomadate much more than 10 people, even though the hostel had many more staying there. Grungy room, not clean when we checked in. We felt the need to wear shoes in the shower. Also they started painting while we were staying there so there was paintfumes everywhere
