Liked: Camden Inn has a mad convenient location right near camden town tube station and within walking distance to all the great entertainment Camden can provide. The staff were friendly and helpful and always there with a smile. Overall I had a positive experience there. The rooms were quite well sized (for London) the breakfast was plentiful and the company was awesome too. I had prebooked a 6 bed dorm but when I got there they were all gone so I got put in a 4 bed dorm for the same amount which was cool.

Disliked: The only thing i didn't like were the showers which while segregated into male and female were just a straight block with very little room and even less privacy.

Liked: was only a 7 minute walk from true Camden

Disliked: The staff did not allow a fellow backpacker who was with me to use the hostel phone to make an emergency call to the ambulance services. The stairs where twisty and some without hand rails, and in case of an emergency such as a fire there where only 2 emergency exits both on the ground floors. There was a deposit required for Key cards and locker keys that was not mentioned in the hostel information.

Liked: I thought the location was quite good, and certain front of house staff were polite and helpful, also an honest and fair price

Disliked: It was far too cramped, especially the shower rooms, it was too close to a popular bus route which was noisy all night into the morning. The price was ok but they dont tell you that you have to pay VAT when you get there which turns out to be the price the translate from Euros, also you need to give them a £10 deposit which you are not told about until you arrive, luckily I was taken pity on as I had no money to eat or drink if I had handed it over.

Liked: Easy to locate and very clean. Temperature was good throughout and plug sockets were available for charging mobile phones.

Disliked: Cost to stay differed from the booking on the internet. Thought it was not a large difference, it was disappointing to only be told once we reached the hostel.

Liked: it is good if you want cheap place in a very nice area of london, full of pubs and places full of young people having fun...because it is cheap, it can't offer very much but if you only need place to sleep and shower, with no major demands, it's perfect...there are very small room, with no ventilation at all, it was very hot...

Liked: Die Unterkunft ist gut erreichbar, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, die Ausstattung ist nicht besonders, für eine Nacht aber ok, es fehlt ein Bad, wo man sich die Zähne putzen und so weiter ... Bettwäsche und Bett sauber, aber es kamen noch 5 € Taxe dazu, was im Internet nicht erwähnt war, das ist nicht gut, das Frühstück sehr mangelhaft, aber wohl landestypisch, naja für 1 Naxht ok, die Küche sollte mal aufgeräumt und gesäubert werden, aber da der Preis soweit astimmt ist es für eine Nacht ok, wir sind ja auch nicht mehr so jung, es hat aber Spass gemacht, die Heizungen waren zu heiß, schade um die Energie

Liked: Rooms are good, staff are easy going, shower facilities are bizarre, the free breakfast is reasonable the booking system is left to be desired. Overall, a worth while stay and would definitely go again!

Liked: It was close to where I wanted to be & cheap. However it was not comfortable at all. The blankets provided are single thin wool ones, & the window in my room didn't fit properly in the frame so wouldn't shut - I was freezing! Things like toilets & kitchen were poorly signposted so I had to ask for directions for everything. Apparently there were common rooms but I've no idea where.
