Liked: Electronic keycards for the doors and lockers big enough to put your pack in.Free breakfast from 7am - 11am.Nice people - both the guests and the staff were friendly.

Liked: The location is great for the tourist or the first time traveler because it is right on the underground but it is not a great bar area so you'll have to venture away for the night life. But overall I liked the location.

Liked: If you are a nonsmoker, I would NOT recommend this hostel! They allow smoking in the building so the entire place reeks of smoke. At night it was hard to sleep sometimes because the smoke would seep into our room. They say smoking is not allowed in the halls or the rooms but people do it anyway and no one stops them. No soap in th bathrooms any of the 4 nights we were there. Other than that, the breakfast and dinners were very good and they provide you with a lot of good information on things to do around London.

Liked: Generator is a great place to stay if you're on a budget. They organize activities that will help you meet fun, inteteresting fellow travellers and make your stay memorable.

Liked: Good bar and relaxing areas. Clean comfortable beds.

Liked: Amazing atmosphere, hundreds of people from everywhere. The staff is great. It's not exactly in tip-top shape, and it's certainly not cheap (but then again, in London nothing is), also takes a while getting anywhere. All in all, however, we had an incredible time.

Liked: This was not really my type of hostel -I prefer smaller ones I guess- but there was nothing wrong with it (other than the fact that there is no kitchen and the caf. food isn't very good- although a kitchen would be impossible to maintain in a place that big). If you want to party AT your hostel, it would be a good choice, but if you put more emphasis on other services, you might want to go elsewhere.

Liked: I likded the fact that it was near the train station, and the showeres were good, the rooms where clea, the place was clean enough for it's size and it being an old building.
