Liked: It was huge and the location was great.

Disliked: the music they played in the bar, not my kind of music :p

Liked: The location was amazing, in a very cute neighborhood and only a couple of underground stops away from all the major sites in London. There was a ton of security so we always felt safe.

Disliked: The rooms were small and cramped and we had to take FREEZING cold showers on more than one occasion.

Liked: The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was very friendly and it was very near to the city center and was also near to the clubbing area.

Disliked: I found a problem in the plugs in the room I was in a dorm room containing 10 beds and there was only one plug in the room, also the front door is closed at 10 pm and you have to the stairs of the back door every time you want to smoke a cigarette, and finally there is a lot of check for the room card every time you go out to smoke a cigarette.

Disliked: no small night lamps!!!! really ignoring that we only could turn the big light on.. and i thourght i book the good female dome but got a normal female dorm. so a bit cleare website..

Liked: I was very impressed with the staff as they were quite friendly, always helpful, and there was never a time when I felt unsafe. In fact, they went above what I had expected to make sure everyone was well-cared for. The location is great and everyone has heard of them so it's hard to ever get lost. Breakfast is good, safe luggage storage is available, and it's in one of my favorite parts of London. I'd stay here again.

Disliked: My only complaint was the noise after midnight, but it wasn't unbearable. I'd expect that from any hostel.

Liked: Well placed, nice atmosphere and most of all CLEAN! Oh, and breakfast. Wonderful!

Disliked: The luggage room system. It's not very well controlled, the staff members differed on whether or not I could enter the luggage room unrelated to my checkout. I was allowed in but got to keep the doorcard until my checkout, which I think isn't very safe (I did not exploit it, though).

Liked: It's next to St Pancras. The bathrooms were clean. Not that expensive for a hostel, but expensive for the service offered

Disliked: The beds are in poor condition Drawers are needed in the bedrooms The bedroom was not cleaned during my stay The place is awfully NOISY. The hand dryers are SO noisy that you hear them in the bedrooms. People talk so loud. The music in the hall does not help.

Liked: was a fun place to stay and met so many nice people. stayed in an 8 person dorm which was fine.

Disliked: was a little hard to find at first.. down an alley way but people on the street were nice enough to ask for directions. the only bad thing about staying in a shared dorm is you feel bad for going in and out of the room cuz you might wake people up.. but you soon learn to get over that! hehe

Liked: Really convenient location. Provided breakfast, simple but still nice.

Disliked: The bathroom condition is horrible, if you take a bath at around 7pm, the floor is all wet with soap and hair, really disgusting. I suggest they put a little drainage in every bathroom instead of just one central one, as the floor is a planar one, and water will not flow easily to the central drainage. Or people can take an earlier bath! And there are no electric plugs in the room (mine is a 10-people dorm) and the wifi signal is super weak in the room. You have to be in the lounge to surf the Internet.

Liked: Good hostel for its value.

Disliked: Our room was below the bar, so it was very noisy at nights. Poor breaakfast. The continental breakfast is not only cereals and toast with jam.

Liked: Good location, decent facilities, fairly priced. Fair free breakfast.

Disliked: Unfriendly and mildly threatening hostile security staff at outside entrance and bar entrance. Upon arrival we were genuinely screamed at by the high-vis vested security at the lane entrance for the heinous crime of trying to walk into the hostel where we had made our reservations, and then given very vague directions of where to check in, resulting in us having to wander about the hostel completely lost for ages. Music in bar unnecessary loud, as there wasn't a dancefloor. We were also nearly refused entry to the bar one evening due to one of us not having photo ID on us, despite the hostel not letting anyone under that age stay in it anyway? We were eventually grudgingly allowed in by the burly brute.
