Liked: The room and shower room are clean.

Disliked: Sometimes the toilets don't work. The breakfast is not good.

Liked: Original decorations, common rooms are good.

Disliked: Not all showers work, not every toilet door can be locked, not every locker can be opened. No Drinking Water in the room. Ninety pounds for a two by three room is extremely expensive. Why you have to use the fire stairs after 22.00 hours is a mystery to me.

Liked: the location is quite close to russel square tube station

Disliked: low quality of services, rooms and food. I visited Dublin generator hostel and it was really amazing. The London one was absolutely not comparable in terms of quality/price ratio

Disliked: The nightclub was open until 3 am every night and the music was very loud making it impossible to sleep.

Liked: The availability of amenities and tours/excursions.

Disliked: The security cages assigned to each bunk were made of wire mesh that was so wide, anyone could stick their hand right through - no very "secure." The lock on the cage was not big enough for a standard padlock to slip through easily. I had to maneuver my lock through it all the time to get it to work which made unnecessary noise (disturbing my roommates). The shower water pressure was non-existent. The water drizzled out like a weak hose - not a shower at all. The "water-saving" toilets were a joke and did not flush properly. This meant you always had a disgusting sight waiting for you every time you used the toilet. Multiple comments to staff about this were ignored. No hooks or shelves on which to place toiletries in the shower - only a single shared hook in the corridor. Same at the sinks. The sinks on the ends had three hooks to hang towels or whatever but the ones in the middle of the row of sinks had nothing. This made it very inconvenient when many people were using the sinks. No shelves on which to put a razor, soap, etc. The hand blow dryers had a mind of their own and would shut off as soon as you moved your hands around to try to dry them. This resulted in constantly hearing those things, which are annoying enough anyway, constantly going on and off... This place is clean and looks nice, but the logistics and practicality of the way it is set up in horrible.

Liked: The hostel offers city tours and packages for parties and clubs; there's a caffe inside.

Disliked: The breakfast was awful.

Liked: The Bar has a very friendly atmosphere where you can meet other people

Disliked: Breakfast is very very simple... less than average

Liked: Location, price. It's great to meet other people

Disliked: Our room smelled funny and the bathroom was on the other floor due to construction. And it was noisy because of the music en the amount of people, but it wasn't a big problem for us.

Disliked: The four people room is too crowded, no luggage space, no hanger, and the height of lower bunk is difficult to raise one's head.

Liked: everything was clean - the linen and the showers

Disliked: the prison-like style and depressive orange-blue colours in the dorms. And the night parties were so loud we couldn't sleep till 5 o'clock in the morning, that really pissed everyone off.

Liked: The location is fantastically located near the British Library and Museum.

Disliked: This hostel is definitely a party location. The atmosphere, cafe, and bar area seem like the embodiment of a college party stereotype. Additionally, the "free" wireless has limited access and the connection is very faulty. Finally, the traffic in and out of the hostel is constant and loud, so unless you are a sound sleeper you may have some trouble.

Liked: Location was good for event we were going to, also it was a short walk to a few main attractions in the city. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Lift was too small and was sometimes quicker to take the stairs even with bags

Liked: Nice people, good bar and internet area. Relatively close to a tube station.

Disliked: Our room was a bit smelly. The showers/toilets were not too clean, and generally the hostel is a bit old. Huge line at reception at check-in. Huge line for breakfast and not really enough seats. And they did not have strawberry jam (Seriously. Who doesn't have strawberry jam?). Overall not the best experience, but we stayed there after staying at Generator Copenhagen, which was AMAZING (and completely new), so maybe our expectations were a bit too high.
