Liked: Not too far from Russell square tube, Cafe open till 10pm for snacks and drinks, everything very clean.

Disliked: No powerpoints in the room I was in (6). Room was freezing cold, Smokers corner outside right next to window of room 6, they were very noisy out there all night, 1 morning they were still out there laughing and talking till 4am and kept waking me up. WIFI only worked in common areas, when it worked at all. Internet connection kept dropping out. Showers were clean, but not very good. either no pressure, all hot water, or flooded.

Liked: The Generator is in a great location, very close to Kings Cross station

Disliked: It was a very noisy environment. I hardly got any sleep. Maybe ear-plugs could be supplied or rooms sound proofed?

Liked: The bathrooms And The showers was nice And you always have hot water.

Disliked: The internet is really slow, very cold rooms, they just turn on The heat some times during The day. The breackfast was really poor. But ok to recharge you in The morning. They have a bar. But ira quite boreing.

Liked: The rooms were very secure.

Disliked: Very unfriendly staff, felt more like a battery hen than a guest at the hostel as per the attitudes of staff and security. Feeling like a pest is not at all pleasent for anyone.

Liked: Excellent location. Good party hostel if that's your thing. Good range of facilities.

Disliked: Only one lift serving the six floors, which meant that if it was broken (as it was during our stay), you had to carry your luggage up many stairs. The showers could do with more regular cleaning and there wasn't a place to hang clothes while showering.

Liked: Free wifi!! Free Breakfast!! The rooms are clean and the shared bathrooms are also clean. Plus, the hostel is located right near Russels Square tube station - so easy to get anywhere. Perfect!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great Service and animated crowd. Even in a day London Stopped, they did a great job, in entertaining the guests with their events

Disliked: the elevator not working, but it is minor.

Liked: Very close to King's Cross/St. Pancras Station, which was good for me because I was traveling with Eurostar. It's also a few tube stops away from major sites such as Piccadilly Circus or Leicester Square. The rooms are spacious.

Disliked: It was dirty. The sheets on the bed looked like they hadn't been washed and they weren't even really made when I got there. The floor, lockers, and bed were all so dirty that even though I kept wiping them with cleaning towels, they would still come out yellow and gross. The toilets also kept getting clogged and many of them wouldn't flush.

Liked: It has a good structure so anyone could stay there. If you want to make some friends, it is the prefect place. You find basically everything you need, with comfort.

Disliked: Not all the showers and toilletes were working perfectly.

Liked: Lots of on site facilities were a plus, as was the price (as I came in the low season).

Disliked: Showers were absolutely horrible. Half just dump out water, and there is no place to keep the stuff you bring in with you dry. Hostel feels very impersonal, a trend I noticed as the size of a hostel increases. Security of belongings is very low. The hostel is very crowded and each person has no choice but to leave their belongings in an unlocked locker. Luckily I did not have anything stolen.

Liked: Good location, easy to find, free breakfast and lockers in room

Disliked: There was not much heating in our room. Unfortunately it was quite cold at night.

Liked: Great atmosphere, bar, dining area, mini store and foods. Good location - 5 minute walk to underground.

Disliked: Had to pay for internet access, terminals are sometimes buggy. Some toilets don't flush properly. Not enough power points in rooms. No individual bed lights in rooms.

Liked: friendly staff absolutely no problems and good location near a tube station.

Disliked: the bar is heard very loudly in the whole bullding.

Liked: Great location and atmosphere, nice hostel bar, comfortable beds, security in the street and in the building entrance.

Disliked: 1. Staff simply not helpful and don't seem to care too much about the customers: tried to interact with them by e-mail several weeks before my arrival to change the type of room on a reservation and they took 2 to 3 days to answer each e-mail and after several interactions simply refused to change the reservation (they told me to cancel the existing reservation, loosing the 10% deposit and then do a new one, when what I wanted was simply to change the type of room). Once at the hostel, tried to cancel, on a Friday afternoon, a stay from Saturday to Sunday (warned them 1 day before), but the cancellation was refused and I was forced to pay for the Saturday night! 2. Common area with internet access too small for the size of the hostel and number of people staying there (although nice and comfortable) 3. Showers too small and difficult to use

Liked: Good location, just a short walk from the Russell Square tube station. The rooms are pretty old and in need of some fixing, but the beds are reasonably comfy and it's quite clean. Even though there's a bar downstairs (which offers food, too), you don't have to mind not getting a good night's sleep. It's fairly quite and pleasant. All in all a good experience, you can't expect much more from an enormous hostel in London at that location for that price.

Disliked: The toilets could perhaps have been cleaned a bit more frequently, but it wasn't a major issue. It's a hostel with 800 beds after all.

Liked: It was a fairly good location, not far from Russell square, it had a nice bar down stairs. Good luggage storage

Disliked: I didnt like the atmosphere or the look of the place. You cant meet anyone its such a big place. I felt uncomfotable there and hated the bathrooms which were flooded.
