Disliked: Cleaners vacuum cleaning at 7:30 on sunday morning seems a bit odd. Cleaning of bathrooms between 8:30 and 9:00 also seems a bit off. General shortage of bathrooms and showers. First night much noise by idiots drinking in their rooms and running around in the hallways.

Liked: The shared areas are excellent: restaurant, bar, internet room, showers, restrooms. Perfect location.

Disliked: The rooms could be in better shape. The luggage room is too small.

Liked: Fast,efficient booking in.Staff very efficient and friendly and always eager to help with a smile.This includes those staff on security/cleaning/bar etc.I have been in hotels costing ten times the Generator with far less satisfaction for the money!

Liked: full of different people and that's make the place interesting and the staffs was quiet professional, they try their best to makes me\us feel at home.

Disliked: i dislike the restaurants for today we're living a lifestyle of sane eating, it's quiet difficult to had proper coffee made instead of those funny machine, no brown bread and no brown sugar. that's really put me off. another thing is that it's difficult to reserve a low?bottom bed online, indeed as a big person I was almost left without a bed, after I insist to speak with the manager, he was indeed quiet nice, but his first porpose put me off, (he offered me a bed in a males dorm) professional as I pose to him, he get his sense back, and infact put me in a female dorm. it was much more appreciated.

Liked: I liked the industrial design theme. The showers are a good size and hot. Free breakfast did the job.

Disliked: 4 people in a room as tiny as this was a very tight squeeze. The room and bedding stank of their many previous occupants, despite leaving the windows open 24/7 during our stay. An employee was going up and down the corridor with air freshener spray - not exactly a structural solution. Beds horribly uncomfortable and too short. I've stayed in various hostels in recent years and the size and quality of the rooms and beds in the Generator were the worst. The building seems to be a converted prison or institution of some kind, and the room definitely felt like an old-school overcrowded cell.

Liked: the location and atmosphere

Disliked: To little showers, had to stand in line every morning. No Kitchen, so cound't cooke my onw food, only hot water en micro wave. Many tv's but they were all on mute.

Liked: It is a fantastic place. I realy was not expecting much and it surprised me. They have a lot of people in te staff and all of them are friendly and polite. The place is huge. There is a room for internet acess, a big room for eating and a very nice pub with a lot of double drink offers.

Disliked: I don't like the shared bathroom idea very much. Their shared bathroom was clean but I would reather stay in a private bathroom room, witch they do not have.

Liked: staff was helpful and friendly, great location, overall nice hostel, i would recommend it to anyone traveling to london. maybe some cheese would make the breakfast lot better though.

Disliked: Showers... not much room to leave your clothes so they dont get wet!

Disliked: Less toilets and showers for so many people. The toilets didn't flush very good.
