Liked: This was my first time staying in a hostel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrrived early on the morning to a very warm welcome from the security guard at the door. I then got inside and after a very quick and upbeat check-in I went to my room. I had booked a four bed girls dorm thinking it would be better than saying in a room with 10 others. The room was quite small with four bunks, one at either side of the room and some floor space in the middle with a sink with hot and cold water. The room was clean and the bed linen crisp and white. The only thing about the room was in the morning there is no way that fourpeople had enough room to get ready at the same time. As regards the bar..cheap drinks between 6-9..£1.50 a pint cheap! After that £3. But this is still good for London. Breakfast is simple but free and filling.

Disliked: I disliked one of the women that worked on security, unlike all the other ppl w orking there she was miserable and rude. When we were smoking she kept on coming over and telling us to be quiet even though we where barely whispering.... The showers are award to use nowhere for your clothes. No bench to sit on getting dressed. Stayed on the second floor near the stairs and I could hear the music from the nightclub, others that I met that stayed in the basement or top floor said they couldn't hear anything. Room to small for four people to get dressed in.

Liked: very clean, nice, beautiful place, very very big and a lots of people to meet. i wont say much more, but i'm sure that you can stay in this hostel and wont regret it at all. the price is very good according to the offering

Disliked: don't have kitchen. but it's not that kind of hostel.

Liked: The room was okay itself and staff was mostly helpful.

Disliked: Not always was there hot water in the shower. Breakfast could be more diverse- whit bread with jam or honey is not really healthy and normal.

Disliked: No hot water on every level Laundry service poor and overpriced rooms dirty and very small only one lift - very slow no tea and coffee facilities except at breakfast

Liked: The bar was nice. The hostel was nearby the underground.

Disliked: The shower, food wasn't nice. To much security.

Liked: - Location. It's easy to walk from the hostel to the West End. Also the underground station very close (Russell Square). - Helpful staff. - Services available at the hostel.

Disliked: - No hot water at the 5th floor (at 08h00 a.m.). I had a cold shower during the English winter. That's something to remember...

Liked: Just about everything. It was very close to the British Museum and main street.

Disliked: The food was kind of bland, especially the bread and coffee. Also the room I was staying in. It could have used a good hoovering, and sweeping. Other than that, it was very nice.

Liked: This place is too big for a warm cosy friendly atmosphere. The security staff might make you feel safe, but not conducive to creating a fun atmosphere. Very clean, good music, cheap drinks. I would only come back for good location to catch train from St Pancreas or Euston, late closing bar at 3pm and cheap drinks. Have not tried their free breakfast.

Disliked: Lack of clear and prominent signs and directions. What signs there were, was only in English.

Disliked: No lockers in the rooms, very noisy dorms (couldn't sleep the second night 'cos some idiot kept triggering the fire alarm at 3:30, 4 and 4:30 am and then the security guard or whatever kept walking up and down the corridors looking for the suspects...), bathroom always dirty at dawn, huge lines for breakfast

Liked: good security measures after 10pm.

Disliked: Hot water is intermittent, therefore very hard to bathe, and mostly bathe in cold waters in evening onwards! Breakfast area was not well organised, seemed chaotic and messy.

Liked: Value for money, good facilities and friendly staff. Lively atmosphere (positive), but not for people who seek a quiet stay :).

Disliked: Cold showers in the morning. Not enough warm water, pretty horrible if it's minus 3 outside.
