Liked: - There's a nice bar downstairs - it's located close to the subway - it's cheap

Disliked: - Appearantly, another group of tourists needed our room the last night of our stay, so we had to change rooms. We were not informed of this (not on the day of the arrival, not on the day the rooms were changed). We arrived in our room and all of our luggage was gone. There wasn't any note or anything. We went to the reception and then they told us about the changes. Without asking, the staff had put all our stuff in garbage bags. Everything was mixed up, put together with food and wet towels,.. That shows very little respect. - The fire alarm went off tree times the first night, without any cause. - It was impossible to turn of the heating, which was one maximum stand.

Liked: Right near London Bridge and Borough stations, about half an hour walk to Westminster Abbey if you want to walk. Free breakfast of cereal and bread was nice. Rooms were big and spacious and had a good system of bed allocation.

Disliked: Bathrooms weren't very nice, 3 on my floor but one had a shower, one a toilet and the third a toilet sink and mirror and the one I needed always happened to be taken! Having said that, were fairly clean however shower head was super annoying

Liked: position, bars atmosphere & price.

Disliked: travllers squat-like atmosphere,late breakfast (at 8am?-what about people how must catch plane early-would not be nicer at you start with serving at 7am like all others??)...

Liked: Location, beds, very friendly staff

Disliked: Horrible showers 1 shared between 4 rooms and 2 toilets, always messy, breakfast only for an hour an a half and not much food supplied

Liked: kitchen with stuff, fast wifi, kind staff

Disliked: 1 bathroom and 1 toilet on each floor, but tab and shower stuff is in one room, so have to wait even i want to wash my hands if there is person at the moment. and on the lobby there's bar, it's veryyyyy noisy.

Liked: The place is like being home, silent zone, its got a nice bar, the staff members are very friendly, i recommend this hostel. Its cheap and you get treated like you are family.

Disliked: a group of young people outside making too much noise, not the hostels responsability anyway

Liked: Great location, nice staff. Basically a hostel and you get what you pay for.

Disliked: Only big thing was that there wasn't enough shower/toilet/sink facilities per floor.

Liked: free breakfast, wifi, very close to the station, it had everything i look for in a hostel

Disliked: the showers where a bit awkward, even for hostel level. the water came out like a misty spray but at least it was nice and hot

Liked: It was close to a subway and train station.

Disliked: Almost everything. The rooms: uncomfortable springy mattresses, lumpy pillows and squeaky bed frames were bad enough, but there's a bar on the ground floor which plays very loud music until the early morning hours, every single night. The noise is unbelievable. Also, the curtains didn't fully cover the windows, so the street lights shine directly into the room at night. 1 bathroom and 1 shower per floor, both of which were filthy and decrepid. The toilet didn't flush properly and the shower was just terrible, with a push tap. The kitchen/common area were totally inadequate, with seats for maybe 6 people and, again, utterly tiny and filthy. The so-called free breakfast consisted of nothing but bread (toast) and butter and those little marmalade packets (usually no more than 2 flavours), and cornflakes and milk. There was also coffee/tea and an odd pink juice watermelon?). We couldn't wait to leave here.

Liked: Friendly staff. Other residents quiet and respectful. Beds comfortable.

Disliked: Keith left no negative feedback.

Liked: Friendly atmosphere, easy to make friends. Big room and comfortable bed. Breakfast in a pub was nice, they have butter not margarine! Nice neighborhood.

Disliked: Shower room could be better. there were two showers in a room which can be locked, but usually only one person can use it because those showers are in complete open space. (*But spacious room to yourself is quite good.) Sink and toilet water was sometimes tricky to use.

Liked: Great location, great value for money; it was clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Some of the mattresses were less comfortable than others, and there is the issue of snorrers. I definitely recommend ear plugs for better quality of sleep.

Liked: very near the tube station, shops no far. Is a tipical english hostel. Big luggage room.

Disliked: Stairs: the reception is in the basement while I was at the third floor with no lift, pub/breakfast on the ground floor, kitchen on the 1st, no hot water on the high levels. Actually the worst things where the showers!

Liked: Cheap, great location (walking distance of Borough underground, Tate Modern, St. Paul's....), super friendly staff, warm comforters, great atmosphere, felt safe

Disliked: Bar gets a little loud at night, especially if you're right above it. One toilet and one shower for eighteen people is unfortunate.

Liked: Great atmosphere with the pub downstairs, cheap drinks and food and really nice staff. It's also in a good location with Borough tube just a minute walk away.

Disliked: I've stayed here several times before and always liked the hostel, but left early this time because I had property stolen from the room (from my bed). It was nothing of huge monetary value and of no worth to anyone else, which is why it was left on the bed and assumed safe. People don't always lock the bedroom/outer doors when they come and go, doors are left ajar, which makes the place less secure. Staff were very helpful in the matter though, they checked CCTV footage and asked around about it. It's a shame, I really enjoyed coming to this hostel before but probably won't go back. I was told by staff that they have a real problem with thefts at the hostel, so it unfortunately wasn't an isolated incident. Learn from my mistake and definitely keep your things secure if you stay here.

Liked: Nice stay. Very helpful staffs. I left an iPod touch behind, and their staff responded quickly and sent it back to me within just 2 days. Rooms clean and tidy. Nice to have a free soda too.

Disliked: Some minor issues: it would be better if the shower taps could let water out continuously.

Liked: we loved carla, who's been so friendly, and helpt us many times, and always smiling. The pub was pretty great too. We liked pretty much everything, except the 4th floor ... SO hard to get up there, and so tiring !!

Disliked: nothing, except maybe one of the members of the staff, a girl, who wasn't that nice and smiley.

Liked: Most things about the hostel were pretty good. Just needs to sort the beds out.

Disliked: It is impossible to get a good nights sleep because of the springs in the mattresses sticking into you. I actually cut my elbow rolling over in bed. Cut myself on the mattress. Shame coz its a pretty good hostel otherwise.

Liked: Carla receptionist very helpful (and a babe!) Cheaper booze and food at the pub downstairs and good atmosphere there at night. Dorms nice and big

Disliked: common room bit small and not many tables to eat on. Not many toilets and showers and not all toilets have mirrors.
