Liked: Great hostel! outstanding location (just in front of Borough station that it´s open all day) and less than 10min walk from london bridge! is two blocks away from Ministry of Sound as well, great party there! and an off-license on the corner, first class!

Liked: i love this place! i stay everytime i am in london , and they always greet me with a big hello and make me feel welcome. the staff is really warm and freindly and accomidating , and willing to help out in a crisis (they have for me several times!) if they possibly can and there is never trouble, and if there is any hint of a problem the difficut parties are quickly and quietly vanquished .it is always clean and quiet, but not so quiet that fun cant be had by all, if they are respectful. seems like they are especially good at matching people to rooms and to other people , and the bar is a pleasure to hang around in. its my london home away from home! i wouldnt stay anywhere else!

Liked: I liked the price, the location and the staff. Easy to get to from the Underground, and a general atmosphere of friendliness and cooperation.I'm 65 and I particularly liked the fact that they said honestly they were geared to the young generation but welcomed older travelers if said oldies realized they'd be surrounded by youngsters. In the end everyone was friendly and I found a (young) bookworm like me to chat to!

Liked: The hostel is an older building, but things were clean; I felt "safe" sleeping there and showering there, if that makes sense. I left my stuff in the "luggage room", NOT in a locker and no zippers locked (but nothing of real value in my ratty-looking backpack) and it was untouched both days I left it there. A lot of hostel-experience relies on the people who share your room. I was dog-tired, and got a bunch of roommates who weren't noisy, so for ME it was a great night and I slept like a rock. I am not your average hosteler, though (45 yo woman) but I liked this hostel and would definitely stay again. It's very close to the Tube, and the Borough-Market is nearby...really a handy place to stay, and a fabulous bargain.
