Liked: Dover Castle Hostel has a wonderful staff, dedicated to helping travelers - they helped every time we needed assistance. The rooms are fairly clean, the bunk beds are comfortable enough to sleep on once you spent the entire day walking across London. The location is really great, just a short walk from Borough Market where you can buy all kinds of great food. However, it gets very cold in the rooms in the night, so it's best to have an extra jumper for sleeping. I'd recommend it for people who don't have a lot money and want to see as much in London as possible.

Liked: The wi-fi was good and the secure door system was reassuring. The bed was horrible, the shower didn't work (admittedly, only temporarily for 3 days) and the people sharing my room didn't even say hello.

Liked: the hostel was convenient and the staff were great. i think it's overpriced for what it is. the building itself is very small and average, nothing special but not a bad place

Liked: There were rats in the room and the receptionist in charge upon our arrival was not a very pleasant person at all, hard to communicate with and seemingly not the least interested in making our staying at the hostel a nice experience. We left the hostel after one night.

Liked: Staff was really nice and the hostel itself was in general a good choice. Only bad points included an unwanted visitor (a mouse in the room!!) and that there was no lock in the bathroom.

Liked: Friendly staff, great place!! I met so many young and fun people here, it was awesome!! The bar was nice too downstairs, we had lots of nights in there. I would reccomend this to everyone I know. I can't wait to come back, soon!! The loaction was fanatstic, so close to London Bridge and all the other exciting tourist attractions.

Liked: The staff was very helpful and the bar was really nice. It was great that the staff enjoyed hanging out with the people staying there. It was also super easy to get to everything in London because of the location.
