Liked: Carla receptionist very helpful (and a babe!) Cheaper booze and food at the pub downstairs and good atmosphere there at night. Dorms nice and big

Disliked: common room bit small and not many tables to eat on. Not many toilets and showers and not all toilets have mirrors.

Liked: Location. Free Breakfast. Free Wifi.

Disliked: Long wait for toilet/shower due to real shortage of them. Tiny kitchen with small fridges so no space in them, No tables and chairs just a horrible old sofa so expect to eat dinner standing up. Lack of a decent communal area. Why the hell isn't the reception bit a nice communal area and then move the reception to the pokey kitchen?? No thought into the place at all like the owner doesn't give a s***. Two wall sockets for a dorm with 10 people. Lockers nowhere near your dorm and hardly big enough for anything. Wifi goes in and out a lot. Mattresses really uncomfortable. Basically another over-priced London hostel. Also staff moved my belongings around without having the courtesy to inform me first (and then lied about it) Have stayed in hundreds of hostels the world over - definately in top 5 worst.

Liked: good location - just 2min walks towestminster, tower or tade modern galerie. also closae to the underground. staff is helpfull

Disliked: couldn t open the windows! that suckt in a 4 bed room, so i dont even whant to imagin the larger ones. only one shower per floor, but thats possible to work out. you cant move in the beds without waking the hole room. and there are about 2m² freespace in the 4 bed room. its even less then i would expect and that isnt much

Liked: Location was good, close to London centre and to the Burough tube. Bar downstairs

Disliked: Considering I came into the trip with a good attidute I was greatly dissapointed. The rooms are cramped, too many beds in a small room. They were doing renovations on the outside facade at the time I was there, meaning that the windows were impossible to open. 8 people in a small cramped room overnight = tropical conditions, it was horrible. To top that off, the first night someone decided that they didnt want to goto the toilet across the hall and to go to the bathroom in the corner of our room instead. The beds themselves are thin, well used mattresses. Some support springs were broken and pushing through the mattress, really uncomfortable. My friend had the same problem with her bed. There is one shower per floor (3 floors) for at least 60 residents, prepare to get up early or have a long wait. I didn't expect miracles with the breakfast, but it was by far the worst I have seen in a hostel (I have traveled all over Europe and N.A.) Stale white bread (friend had mold spots on hers), toaster, orange marmalade, and instant coffee. To top everything off, the bartender (male, who runs the breakfast) is unhelpful and an unpleasant person.

Liked: The location of this hostel is great. Literally a 1 minute walk to the tube station. very safe area too. another 5 minutes up the road and you are in a more central part of the city (not too sure what part) but lots of bars and restuarants. Another 5 minutes the other way is the famous Ministry of Sound Club, we went there on a friday night and it was great. Free breakfast was all you need as a traveller on a budget, cereal and toast. Also the bar is a good place to hang and have a drink. I think it is a university bar though coz there were alot of others there on a friday and sat night that were not from the hostel

Disliked: the lack of bathrooms. the bathrooms on our level were getting renovated so we did have to use the other levels but were not told and there is no signs for the bathrooms. also only 1 shower and up to 2 toilets on every level. did not have a problem with having to queue personally but i did see a line while i was staying there. maybe the issue will be sorted when the bathrooms are finished renovations.

Liked: I really liked the atmosphere around the hostel. The price and the location is an add-on.

Disliked: The mattress are very uncomfortable and causes a backache.

Liked: staff was friendly. you could use internet there (not for free)

Disliked: there was only one toilet for everyone without a basin. showers very small and only with a shower curtain.

Liked: Right beside the underground station. For the price, it was really good. They are in renovations right now, so new showers are coming! Nice staff, everything is possible with them

Disliked: Would need more wc and shower on each floor. Lots of noise because of the pub downstairs. Bring ear plugs! Rooms on 3 floors, a little hard with heavy backpack.

Liked: very close to the tube station and very good value for the place

Disliked: nothing really except there was some restoring and painting work going on and the smell of paint was everywhere. mattresses r so thin u can feel the springs in ur bones.

Liked: Amazing location very very close to borough station and the staff is very friendly and helpfull will help in anything you need.

Disliked: Just one shower in each floor so you will have to wait a bit to have a shower in the morning. Beds a bit old and noise in the room, always coming in and out people but still is a good place to explore the city because its so close to underground station.

Liked: It was good to have lockers outside the bedroom and being able to use them whenever you wanted to without having to ask the staff in the hotel.

Disliked: I didn't like the dirty toilet, the noise coming from the bar downstairs especially on friday night, the beds were very old, they made a lot of noise when you moved.

Liked: Location is great. Downstairs bar can be useful also, because it was open until 2 am.

Disliked: Granny alert! Maybe it was just bad luck, but there was this large group of age 50+ women living next to us making noise all night, all day. With poor noise damping of the walls, this was somewhat irritating. It was also really hot in the hostel, without possibility to open windows in our room or to otherwise improve the air quality.
