Liked: 11/10 all round. Especially friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and generally excellent facilities. I stayed for a week. Prices change on the weekend / weekday so make sure you are getting the best deal.

Liked: Our party of four was split up into two rooms: one on the second floor and one on the top floor. This, as such, was not so bad, but the fact that the rooms -- especially the top floor one -- were so extremely warm all the time, and that the upper floor lacked a fan made it very hard to sleep there. One of the nights, another person in the lower room put up his wet laundry, which made the humidity unbearable; I don't know if this means there is no dryer, but if there isn't, one should be installed. Alternatively, there should be some other place to dry clothes than in the rooms. There are also too few showers and toilets for the amount of rooms.However, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was adequate, and if you're just looking for a place to spend the nights, and you're not going there in the hottest parts of summer, I guess it's a quite decent place.

Liked: Great atmosphere, very fun, helpful staff. A little far from the heart of London, but a great place to stay nonetheless. I will be returning! They even had the convienience of skype on their computers with built in cameras.

Liked: Really good location close to Bayswater station which makes it easy to get to all of the main tourist sites. Rooms were clean but ours was a little cramped. Really nice staff at the front desk.

Liked: Staff were great. Free breakfast great. 24hr reception great. Shower in room with just a curtain and no toilet on the same floor bad! Not much storage. Room was roasting hot.

Liked: If I could have chosen ' I'm not sure' as an answer to the question 'Would you recommend this property to other travelers.', I would have done it. Actually the Astor Quest Hostel has a nice athmosphere, it is located really close to the city and the rooms are clean. The facilities could be newer and a bit cleaner. What I did not like during my stay there was that somebody puked on the stairs to the highest floor (where I stayed) which where covered with carpet. Although we told the staff, nobody removed it immediately, so you could smell it strongly even two days later. Additionally some of the bread I (nearly) ate for breakfast was not fresh any more. So if you don't mind that this could happen when you stay there, you are fine staying at this hostel. If you do, then try another one.
