The Bayswater area is full of friendly English pubs, cafes and restaurants that will keep you busy during the evening. Public transport wise, it can't get much easier with three Underground (Tube/Metro) stations around the corner (Bayswater/Queensway/Notting Hill Gate) and numerous bus stops, which give you access from all the major airports and railway stations.
