Liked: Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to get a voucher for internet use when I checked in.

Liked: Close to the city, only a 15 min walk to Covent Garden. The hostel has a good movie room where you can watch films for free or use the book exchange. has a decent kitchen, albeit a bit busy in the mornings.

Liked: stayed at a double room in a building 2 streets from the main hotel.Though it was an old building, it was kept very clean. Fresh flowers in the room (nice detail) -really quiert, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Liked: It is probably just about the best place you could stay in London. It would be hard to find a better location, the building is lovely; the atmosphere relaxed; and the staff friendly and helpful. Also very clean, which makes a huge difference.

Liked: Location is great - staff are helpful but alot of them are also foreigners who are doing casual work at the hostel so they're not always the best ppl to ask for info on getting around or seeing London. it's an old building with thin walls and not that clean, but if yo're looking for a party hostel to meet other travellers then this is it.

Liked: The location is good - easy to get to from Heathrow, and good central location to get to most places of interest. The place has lots of very steep stairs and no lift, so be warned if you have lots of luggage or health issues. Some staff are very helpful, others are very much the opposite. Only 2 showers for a floor, but I never had a problem and they were relatively clean. Very noisy place, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep the night through. Would stay there again because the location is very convenient.

Liked: The location was in a very nice part of London and the staff was great. The rooms are very small but clean. It wasn't extremely close to a lot of the main sites but was close to some really cool area of London.
