Liked: Its a cheap hostel and thats what i was expecting, however, the toilets where horrible, they had not been clean at all through the day and half we stayed there!! most of them could not be used. No staff on reception when we arrived or to be found and a little oil wouldnt go a miss on the very creaky beds. Keep us all up and you didnt dare turn over. Really disappointed after reading the reviews and I've stayed in many Hostels :(

Liked: the stuff there is great, friendly helpful and totally nice!! they know London and have great tips, where to go, and what to see, they showed great places although it was my 6th time in london!

Liked: I had a great time at Ashlee House :-)) It s a cool Location to stay for a few days in London! The stuff always was friendly and helpfully... So next time I come to London I will come to Ashlee House!

Liked: The Hostel was reeeally good located, next to King´s Cross Station, easy to take any bus or metro. But, we didn´t like the bathrooms and the night staff was rude. She didn´t help us at all when we asked about pubs, just "ahh, walk around...soho, ...here, ...no." while she was really focused at the msn, icq, i don´t know! But, the guy that worked in the afternoon was cool! :b And that is a pub in front of the hostel...

Liked: It is not a fun place to meet people. Lot of old people and children. The staff are really not kind. They are not flexible at all and are not interest on helping you. They seem to hate their job. The rooms are not very clean. Beds are too close to each other.

Liked: This was my first time hostel-ing and it really was a positive experience - the staff were helpful and chatty, the rooms and bathrooms clean and mirror-y and our roomate remained ridiculously friendly despite us coming back in from a steampunk concert at 2am waving samosas at her. Awesome location too!
