Very clean, helpful staff and awesome airport transfer driver. Of course, it is B&B and quite cheap at that. But you certainly get what you paid for.

Overview

7 minutes from London Stansted Airport, Avalon offers comfortable accommodation, free Wi-Fi, competitive prices and transfers to the airport and Elsenham Rail Station.

Airport Transfers- £3.00 per person per trip plus parking fee when applicable.

Avalon provides airport transfers subject to availability. Although every effort will be made to provide this service, Stansted Lodge reserves the right to cancel any arranged transfers or not to provide transfers.
Airport transfers are provided strictly from 4:00 am to 11:00 (11am) and 16:00 (4pm) to 22:00 (10pm) on the hour.
Transfer Costs:
From 01 April 2011 Stansted Lodge will provide a licensed taxi.
The fee will be £3.50 per room per trip-from and to the airport. Pickups from Elsenham train station remains without charge.

Located in the lovely village of Elsenham, Avalon is about 2 miles (3.2 km) due north of the airport.

Avalon has most rooms with en suite bathrooms, semi-ensuite single rooms but rooms without en suite bathrooms are also available. A laundry facility is on-site.

Breakfast
We offer a continental style breakfast (self service) from 03:45 – 10:00 with tea, coffee, fruit juice, jams, marmalades, cheese, ham and a selection of cereals with milk. We provide Gluten free breakfast on request.
