Liked: This property was very warm, clean and tidy, it had everything we needed for the weekend, It was in the perfect location for what we were looking for, would def be staying here again.

Disliked: Nothing, it was ideal..

Liked: The hostel was in a very nice, clean condition. We stayed there for a football match and therefore only had to walk for 1 minute to get to Anfield. All facilities you'd expect and more. A few firneds stayed in a more well established hostel, paid more money and had a very poor experience. All five of my group stated we would stay at this property again.

Disliked: They only negative I could think of is the distance from the city centre. Its not really within walking distance. However was only a £5 taxi away!

Liked: Great location, situated very close to Anfield. Good value for money.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike really. However, TV in my room didn't work. Having a wifi connection would've been nice too.

Liked: Having access to a shared kitchen, this is a good place to stay of you want to save some money by cooking your own food. It also felt like the place was recently renovated. It takes about one minute to walk to Anfield and 5 minutes to Goodison Park, making it a perfect stay if you are watching a game during your stay.

Disliked: You should be aware that this place has no manned reception. When we wanted to know if we could leave our cases in our rooms four a few hours after check out time, we had to ring the owners. We were finally allowed to leave them, but only after waiting for 3 hours for owners to get back to us with their decision. It was pretty obvious that the owners/staff did not care to clean the kitchen between stays of different customers, but relied on the customers themselves to do that (we found moldy jam in the fridge, for example). The location of the property means that you have to grab a taxi or bus if you want to get into the city centre. The area around Anfield is quite dilapidated, but we did not feel insecure walking around.

Liked: A 5 minute bus ride away to the city centre, the sitting room, bathroom and bedroom were neat and tidy: great value for money

Disliked: Most of the homes around the area were abandoned and the area did not look safe as gangs were common, no soap in bathroom.

Liked: The house and the room was really clean, and the common area is full equiped with oven, microwave...so you can cook our dinner there and watch a film in the big tv the hangover days;-) Everything looks new! They leave everything you could need for breakfast, milk, cornflakes, tee, caffee and you just prepare it whenever you want! The toilets were really clean also.

Disliked: Even the neighbourhood is safe, most of the houses are empty. Anyway it looks like they're rebuilding everything, so in some time it would look really good. The house is not really close to center, but those hostels were more expensive. It's just 3 min away from Liverpool stadium and it's true that with a taxi and 6 pounds you can be in Lime station. Also you can get a bus in Stanley Park that goes to the center. The heaten didn't work the first night in our room, but the house was warm anyway! The other two nights it worked properly!

Liked: It is basically a house, and when we were ther I don't think there were any other guests, or none that we could came accross. So had the place to ourselves for 2 days. Location is right beside anfield, and about 5-10 mins in a taxi to town.

Disliked: No communication with staff etc, everything is done via letter or over the phone, including picking up keys etc which was a bit strange.

Liked: Really good situated as far as your just interested in going to a football match and watching Liverpool or Everton . There at Football Lodgings you can find an international and very familiar atmosphere, quite niceley furnished rooms and very kind staff. You´re living just 1 min away from Anflied and may be 5-10 min away from the "Birthplace of Liverpool FC" or the famous football Pub Sam Dodds.

Liked: Feels more like a home than a hostel. Clean and nicely furnished. You can use the laundry machine and they keep the fridge stocked with some basic breakfast necessities, which was nice. Very helpful staff.

Disliked: Quite far from the city centre and some of the neighbourhood is under heavy reconstruction. I'd also recommend a bike rental service. That would make the city centre really accessible and I think it would fit in with the whole feel of the place.

Liked: Football Lodgings is in a very quiet road. which suited our needs. It is an excellent location, for us so close to Anfield Football Club. We were very happy, and would definately stay there again.
