The Old Dairy

The Old Dairy has been arranged with the budget conscious traveller in mind ensuring Value for Money comes as standard so we provide everything needed for your short stay. All bedrooms are lockable providing a good secure base for your stay. We DO NOT accept large Boozing Groups, Stag & Hen Parties or similar. Tourist groups welcome but must check with us first prior to making reservation. Check-In: 2pm-8pm Check-Out by 10.30am. 1. 8 miles to City by bus. No Walk-Ins, must first book online.

The Old Dairy is a Hostelbookers "Best Value" award winner in 2009 and continues to provide excellent value for money! 2 miles from city centre in a residential neighbourhood and is easy accessible via at least 6 buses. We DO NOT operate a typical reception so we ask our guests provide an approx arrival time and then call us 20 minutes before arrival by phone, email or text so we can ensure that there is someone there to greet you. Guests have their own keys once they are checked in.No curfew.
Our bedrooms are all furnished to very comfortable and modern standard providing all divan base beds in doubles/singles. Family rooms have divan beds and bunks. We like our guests to feel at home so we provide all of our guest bedrooms with tea making facilities & free tea & coffee, free view TV, wash basins, plenty of hanging & storage space plus dressing mirror. FREE WIFI connectivity throughout the building. Hairdryers, irons and ironing boards also available. Tourist information leaflets, maps, guides etc are all provided.
We have a FULLY equipped kitchen with 24 hr free tea and coffee; microwave oven, toasters & dishwasher. Communal dining room with a selection of books, board games, cards and movies in our movie library.

We have a 7 day cancellation policy: No-shows and late cancellations will be charged for the first night minimum, weekend reservations will be charged in full.
ADVANCE BOOKINGS: Bookings more than 4 weeks in advance of arrival date will be charged A NON-REFUNDABLE 50% of the balance in advance. The remaining balance is then payable upon arrival. Guests are notified by proprietor of advance payments made.
If advance payment made there will be no further charge for a 'no'show' or late cancellation, however notification of cancellation desired.

Accommodation Information

All of the bedrooms at The Old Dairy are lockable and secure, offering security and peace of mind for all of our visitors. We want all of our guests to experience a good night’s sleep at The Old Dairy so all of our rooms are equipped with modern and comfortable furnishings including divan beds with duvet and all linen including towels provided. A TV/DVD or VCR & free view is also provided along with night light for your convenience & extra comfort. Our standard rooms are all provided with their own wash hand basin/vanity unit and make up/dressing mirror, plenty of storage and hanging space. There are free local information packs in all rooms. Wi-fi connectivity is provided in all rooms also free of charge, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities are also provided in all bedrooms.
We have triples (3 single beds) rooms; quad (family) rooms with 4 Bunk beds; double rooms; twin rooms also Double and Twin En-suite rooms.
Central Heating in all bedrooms and throughout the building.

Location Information

The Old Dairy is excellently located (1.8miles)from start of City Centre on one of Liverpool’s main bus routes. At least 6 buses stop approx 200 meters away from us ( 78,79,178,179,7 9c/d/e) going to & from the City Centre with a journey time of no more than 10 mins to reach all of the City's major tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, theatres and shopping :
Albert docks: Beatles Story, TATE Gallery, Maritime & Slavery Museum.
Liverpool One: Liverpool’s latest shopping district within the City Centre;
Liverpool Anglican & Metropolitan Cathedrals at each end of Hope Street;
World Museum, Walker Art Gallery, St Georges Hall, Port of Liverpool Buildings where you can see the world famous Liver Birds;

Liverpool & Everton FC stadiums only a short single bus journey from The Old Dairy on No. 26 bus, (which will stop right outside Anfield stadium) so The Old Dairy is ideally located for Match Days too!
