Denton House

Welcome to Denton House. we have recently been refurbished and are located in the town of Keswick in the heart of the lake district. We are located close to several parks, and access to local hills and mountains are very close.
Please note groups of more than 6 must book entire dorms.

We are a friendly hostel, with no lockout or curfew, and there is a TV room and a large kitchen which is available for guests to self cater, breakfast and packed lunches are available to large groups only (generally 15 or over).
We can also provide outdoor activities, which can be booked at the centre, under the supervision of our qualified instructors.
Our activity prices for 2012 are £30 for a half day and £60 for a full day. A full days activities generally run from 9:30am to 5pm
Our activities include Canoeing, Ghyll Scrambling, Climbing, Abseiling, Raft building and Guided hill walks including bespoke Navigation training.
As we are an outdoor activity centre we can not take bookings for groups undertaking activities with other providers without prior arrangement.

Accommodation Information

56 beds in 8 different rooms. Sole or partial bookings are taken. For sole use of the entire centre the prices are £800 per night weekdays and £900 per night on weekends.
Groups please note ; groups of more than 6 people must book entire dorms for sole use (e.g. not 10 beds in a 12 bed dorm). And must contact the office directly to book. (Everyone else please note: yes - we do allow single sex groups such as stag and hen do's on weekends when we're providing outdoor activities for them!)
