Exeter Globe Backpackers is housed in an 18th century townhouse and is excellently located just a few minutes walk from Exeter’s city centre, our nine hundred year old Gothic cathedral and the picturesque historic waterway and quay. That's not to mention the wide range of pubs and clubs all throughout Exeter. Globe Backpackers is ideal for travelers and backpackers looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay while enjoying our beautiful surroundings.
Our 2000 year old city is centrally located in the region of Devon and Cornwall making it the perfect place to base yourself enabling you to go on plenty of day trips to the coast, Dartmoor National Park, the Eden project and much more. Easily accessible from London, Bristol, Bath and Cardiff, Exeter really puts you in the middle of things.
For those looking to offset some travel costs Exeter is a perfect place to make a few pounds while still getting to see loads of attractions. Exeter is one of the few cities in Britain which boasts an unemployment level of nearly zero percent.
Exeter really is a must-see for any true backpacker!

GLOBE BACKPACKERS DEFINITION OF A GROUP = 6 OR MORE PEOPLE MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE 30.
ALL GROUP BOOKINGS ARE TO BE APPROVED BY THE HOSTEL OWNERS.
GROUP BOOKINGS PAY IN FULL AND IN ADVANCE ON A NON-REFUNDABLE BASIS AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.
YOUR BOOKING IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
GROUPS ARE REQUIRED TO PLACE A £20 PER HEAD DAMAGE/ANTII SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR BOND AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN.
WE ARE PRIMARILY SET UP FOR INDIVIDUAL/INDEPENDENT TRAVELLERS. ALTHOUGH WE CAN ACCEPT GROUPS IT IS NOT SET UP AS A GROUP HOSTEL E.G. THE DINING TABLE SITS 10 AT A TIME! WE DO NOT PROVIDE MEALS. WE OFFER A SMALL FULLY EQUIPPED SELF CATERING KITCHEN.
MARCH - OCTOBER: SINGLE NIGHT SUPPLEMENT FOR A SINGLE NIGHT STAY ON A FRIDAY OR A SATURDAY. WE CHARGE £17 PER PERSON PER NIGHT FOR A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY NIGHT ONE NIGHT ONLY FOR GROUP STAY.
INDIVIDUALS: SINGLE NIGHT SUPPLEMENT FOR A SINGLE NIGHT STAY ON A FRIDAY OR A SATURDAY. WE CHARGE £16 PER PERSON PER NIIGHT.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR TERMS OF BOOKING:-
CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE BY 20 DECEMBER AND MADE DIRECT WITH HOSTEL.
MINIMUM 4 NIGHT STAY INCLUDING 24, 25, 26 DECEMBER. LAST CHECK IN 11PM 23 DECEMBER. FIRST CHECK OUT 8AM 27 DECEMBER.
NEW YEARS BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE BY 20 DECEMBER AND MADE DIRECT WITH HOSTEL. MINIMUM 2 NIGHT STAY INCLUDING 31 DECEMBER AND 1ST JANUARY. LAST CHECK IN 3.30PM 31 DECEMBER. FIRST CHECK OUT 8AM 2 JANUARY.
