Liked: the location was good.

Disliked: kept running out of toilet rolls in the toilets. no hand sanitizer/soap in the toilets. no hand towel. in the room the curtain was old and thin, the lamp didnt work and not enough plug sockets. the reception guy didnt know directions when we got lost on our way and asked us to find a passer by!!!!

Liked: The staff was very helpful and even we made a mistake on booking to cost us more money, the staff helped clarifying with his Boss and so eased some of our trouble.

Disliked: It was very difficult to find. The directory written on the confirmation email stated 'get off at London Road.....' but then there was a huge difference between the London Road quite near to the East Midlands Airport AND the London Road near city center. If you get off at the early part of this long London Road, you will probably find yourself in the suburb and a small town.

Disliked: The dirt in the bathroom is awful, the shower head is loaded with mould and bacteria

Liked: Very good room, everything was very comfortable and the place was very good and well located.

Disliked: It is a guest house, so the hostel virtues, like meeting people or having events don't apply here. Very good though.

Liked: There is a little kitchen where you can save some money by cooking your own breakfast or dinner. Staff friendly. The bathroom could be cleaner. Free parking.

Liked: Own room

Disliked: Despite billing as close to the airport and having a 24hour reception, I had to wake up another guest to check in, and out, and paid 30 pounds for a taxi.

Liked: Peace and calm with a small but nice kitchen!

Disliked: Could not imagine what a strange noise was! The bathroom was leaking.

Liked: I stayed in the double room with my boyfriend and I must say I really liked the room a lot. It was a nice size with a handy sink in the room. The room was next door to the shared bathroom and that was very handy. The guesthouse itself was quiet and this was good because I would have hated it to be a loud place. The staff were nice and just did what I expected them to do. The room I was in was on the side of the guesthouse and this meant I didn't experience but traffic noise from the road which was quite busy. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, especially seeing as it was located within an easy distance to Derby railway station and the town centre.

Disliked: The room wasn't as warm as I had hoped.

Disliked: We have been the worst night in ours lives, the room is completely cold, i think we would have slept better in the street, is awful.

Liked: Very clean, organized and quiet.

Disliked: Location 20 minutes from the bus station. Other things were perfect!

Liked: It was a small, well kept place which offered nice facilities and the staff were always around.

Disliked: Quite a way out from where I wanted to be and the checking out time was a little harsh but apart from that it was all good.
