Liked: A good location for visiting into Dartmoor National Park

Disliked: Its a central place to stay, but after the sun goes down, Moretonhampstead is pretty dead

Liked: A place with unique character and charm. very close to dartmoor and the town had sufficient food shops etc very friendly and helpful host

Disliked: initial comment re parking and unloading as the road itself is too narrow to stop. nearbye carpark which was very cleap for overnight usehowever finding the way from car park to hostel was through small pretty housing estate goodsignposting outside the building however the court yard and where to go was confusing if there was nobody around . Basic kitchen but if you bring your own cleaning bits ok.

Liked: Sparrowhawk is homely independent hostel with a very welcoming proprietor. And a great location - right in the town of but minutes away from walks in glorious countryside.

Liked: It had a nice vibe.

Disliked: When it says that kitchen is fully equipped its not correct - there's a lack of kitchen equipment. + The cleaning (except in the nice bunkroom) was not satifying. + overall the place seemed a little messy.

Liked: cosy place right close to Dartmoor Park.Great surroundings,a must for anyone loves hiking and stuff like that.Goob little town,with a lot of character and atmosphere.Highly recommended!!...Not a hostel for too fussy mates,anyway..=)

Liked: You get in and out from the back gate at any time, safe Village,Easy to find, good location for walks, Big Kitchen, nice shower rooms and hot water, clean, nice outside-garden area,tidy, loads of info and books, lovely land lady!
