 All staff I meet there were very helpful and friendly. Though the building is old, they keep it clean as much as possible. And, they seem to truely hoping our pleasant stay.
There are many fun offered at the hostel. Worth staying more than one night!

The staff here was so friendly and helpful. Carmen was so delightful and wanted to help us in any way possible. The rooms were immaculate and the bathrooms great. A little garden and video room added to the character. I only wish I could have stayed longer to take more advantage of all it seemd to have offered for guests.

We had the cleanest, most spacious room I have ever had in a hostel. It was very quiet and the bathroom was amazing. Definitely ask for room 31.

Kipps hostel has a wide range of facilities. It has everything you could ever need in its kitchen and a large living room with lots of movies you can watch for free. Its only a 10 miinute walk away from the city centre (much closer than the YHA). Breakfast was excelent value. For just £1 paid on arrival you can have an unlimited Continental breakfast.

Clean, quite and comfortable. Great staff. The place to be in Canterbury. Come on Friday - free pasta and live music!

Great people. Nice free pasta dinner on saturday. Good advices about where to go and what to do. People were singing all together after dinner and playing guitar. Great time.

I really liked the common room and the kitchen. Staff was helpful and kind and they didn't make any problem when my bus was late and checked in after midnight!

too bad we only stayed one night, Friday night with Luigi, him cooking free pasta and also playing the guitar was awesome, had a great time there with my family, nice room, clean and superfriendly staff, thanks again

The staff are some of the nicest people in the world. You get a genuine sense of feeling welcomed. I highly recommend this hostel.

friendly staff - there was always someone there to help us or to answer our questions;
huge kitchen which could be used by everybody;
informal atmosphere - hardly anyone spent his time in his room; everyone was downstairs cooking together, watchen tv together, sitting in the garden and having a glass of wine together ...
So it's really been a great time

Clean, friendly, and a decent price, this hostel is just a short walk outside of the city center. It's not far from places to see as well as the rail station. A great stay.

The hostel was really nice. big kitchen, lovely garden, nice staff. good place to meet people. But we didn´t like the size of the rooms...too small and only one bathoom for 8 people:(
