Flora Leung thinks…

"Average on the whole. The location is not so close to city centre, have to walk for around 15-20 minutes. Cambridge itself is a nice place though."

By road
Cambridge is well served by local and national road networks. From London or Stansted Airport, the M11 provides the most direct route. From the north the A14 brings traffic from the A1 (M) to the north of Cambridge. The west and east are served by the A14 running from near Birmingham to Felixstowe.

Take 3rd exit off this roundabout signposted to Cambridge A1309
Follow road through to Trumpington village
Take right-turn sign posted A1134 (towards Addenbrookes, Rosie Maternity Hospital, Airport and Cherry Hinton) into Long Road
At the bottom of Long Road turn left at the traffic lights into Hills Road
At the next set of traffic lights (ignore all the Pelican crossings) turn right into Cherry Hinton road.
The third turning on your left is Rustat Road.

By train
Getting to and from London is straightforward. Direct trains to Liverpool Street and Kings Cross are frequent from Cambridge and take about 1 hour. It is also simple to get to and from Stansted Airport.
There are some direct trains from Manchester and Birmingham; these are cross country and can be slow. From the north, you will need to change at Peterborough and probably Ely.
