Customer reviewIt was very run down and old. Freezing in the bathroom, and the showers could only produce ice hold or burning hot water! The breakfast was good though. |

Customer reviewWhat I liked: cheap, reasonable location. What I didn't like: broken locks on shower and toilet; the coffee (breakfast in general isn't very tasty, but the selection is large and generous, so if you pick the right things, you'll be fine), they forgot to prepare my take-away breakfast on the last day, and so on. Overall, it was alright, but I don't think I'll ever return. |

Customer reviewThe only good thing about this Youth Hostel were the staff who were great and helped me out as I had made a mistake with my booking. I do not like being critical as the staff were so nice. However the state of the hostel needs looking at. |

Luke Lambethalthough it kept quite clean and had good facilities, it is an absolute dump and is on desperate need of re-decorating. the mattress cover was stained and the carpet was horrible and made me feel dirty by just walking on it. The breakfast however, was amazing! |

Customer reviewThe staff at the hostel were super-friendly and the breakfast was the best hostel-breakfast I've ever had! The hostel has lots of areas to meet people and because of this is very sociable. The location is great for the strain station, although a little bit of a walk from the city-centre. |

Anthony RoseWelcoming, clean, very good food, staff very helpful and friendly, (I was showed through to the dining room rather than just given instructions how to get there)-little things like that make all the difference. In a pleasant, quiet location convenient for the station and the town. Facilities clean and well maintained, and very comfortable sitting areas, bright and clean restaurant, marvellous and comprehensive breakfast. Much appreciation. |

Peter OdlaugOnly about 5 min. walk from the train station and about 15-20 min. walk to the town, it's a great place to stay if you're coming in by train. The showers were great with lots of room to move in and the beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast provided was good and the staff do their best to help you. The only thing I didn't like was the cost of the internet |

Customer reviewI liked that it was a nice place with nice people and as much tea as I liked ;) but I didn't like that I had to pay 1 pound for 15 min on the internet... but all in all it was a nice two days! |

Customer reviewIt was very clean and secure. It was a bit on the expensive side. They charge 1 pound for only fifteen minutes of Internet. If you are not a member of YHA you have to pay a small fee. |

Rosie PriestleyThe staff were really lovely and very helpful. My only complaint would be the noise of other users however this is not down to the staff as they do all they can to keep it as quite as possible |
