Liked: Some rooms downstairs - dining hall and one sitting room are in good condition. Staff very good

Disliked: Some downstairs rooms are in poor condition. As you go up the stairs to the rooms it becomes increasingly shabby. I've stayed in many YHAs and I haven't known one so tatty. It was also fairly grubby, several toilets on the top floor were out of order and there wasn't always hot water. Curtains hanging off the rails.

Liked: Staff was friendly, Rooms were clean. 15 min walk from the city center in a quiet street.

Disliked: Common area is a bit small thus it is difficult to meet people. More and free lockers would be great. Beds are old and therefore a bit noisy.

Liked: It is just like a normal YHA, nothing more to say.

Disliked: They don't even provide hair dryer!!! That is what I think as a normal facility. At the first I stayed there, there was a big of teens and kids, who just played around whole night, making lots of noise and troubles. But, there is no stuff tried to stop it, which I think is a problem.

Liked: the market near the hostel.

Disliked: the room was cold, when we arrived the window was opend, and without an adecuate heater.

Liked: nothing but the cheapest one in Cambridge, and its location.

Disliked: almost everything u can imagine. like... shower and healter not hot, room too small, not secure for luggage, one staff''s attitude was really bad! I think this hostel only worth for 5 pounds in London.

Liked: Feels like a hotel. It is very clean, organized, stylish, luxurious, comfortable, etc. The ensuite rooms are just as if you would find in a good hotel.

Disliked: Shower was bad. Very, very bad. This particular YHA wasn't as clean and new as other YHA's. The wifi is extremely expensive. You have to give them an arm and a leg (1 pound) for every 15 minutes. Also, they do not have free breakfast like some other hostels do. And of course, there's the membership fee that you have to pay if you're not a member.

Liked: The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, the staff is really nice, the location is great and the area is safe.

Disliked: Two of the four showers were not working properly (cold water)

Liked: - good diner - possibility to have room just for women - shower and WC clean - kitchen available for customers ( clean too)

Disliked: - breakfast not included - if there is noise in the next room, you really heard it - no drinking water in rooms, just in kitchen

Liked: Room adequate and staff very friendly/ helpful. 5 mins from train station.

Disliked: Toilets and showers small and dirty. Little available facilities in self catering kitchen. Water not drinkable in rooms.

Liked: Close to the train station and just 10 minutes by walking from the city centre, honest price, large and clean self-catering kitchen and lounge room. Staff was very friendly. Front door closes at 11PM, but it's still possible to get back anytime since there is always somebody at the reception. No problem if you have to checkout early in the morning.

Disliked: If in a large group, the number of showers and bathrooms could be not sufficient for everybody. Cleanliness was average, not excellent.

Liked: has nice common roomsmost of the staff was very friendly

Disliked: quite expensive (but England is quite expensive anyway) the bathrooms could be renewed the kitchen isnt very nice but for a few days acceptable

Liked: Fantastic staff. Very helpful. Wide range of facilities such as free luggage storage, a cafe, and vending machines.

Disliked: A bit of a walk from the city centre; no lockers in rooms.

Disliked: extremely noisy-one couldn't sleep! extremely hot and humid.

Liked: First I was a bit sceptical about tht place, as there were quite a lot negative comments on the internet. But eventually I found it to be a really nice place, located not too far away from the city center (only about 15 minutes by foot). Also the staff was very friendly and I met some quite interesting people.

Disliked: The only objection would be, that there are no lockers in your room, where you could leave your valuable stuff. Only possibility to make sure your belongings are safe, is to pay 2 pounds to lock them away.
