Customer reviewSecond chance for the rock n bowl after a average stay in September. I can report much has improved without the price going up. The motel now has its own dedicated reception and a small lounge attached . Rooms are clean and basic..not really rock n roll. Private shower rooms are also basic but better than communal option. Mix of guests of course the bar is great fun. Heating is now working. Overall, its a unique backpackers which is growing into itself and improving. £11 per night is great value for any UK city. |

Chun Hei MakThe location of this hostel is excellent. It is so close to the shopping centre. It is a fun place to meet people because it has a bar and bowling court. I would definately recommend this other people. |

Customer reviewThis hostel is situated in a great location and if you just want somewhere to stay it is fine. But the man that checked us in was not friendly or helpful and the bathrooms were dirty and there are not enough of them. |

Nathalie FerrazNot much, the twin room is noisy as the windows open onto the street, the other rooms are very unpersonal. |

Andreja KrizmanIn our room it was literaly 10 degrees, or even less at night. We were freezing and the staff told us they couldnt do anything about it. The wind was blowing from the windows although they were shut at all times. They were also so thin it was impossible to sleep at night as it is a very busy street just outside the motel. The only good thing were the staff who were really nice and the bathrooms were clean enough. |

Customer reviewi really liked the hostel and the bowling alley too! the room i stayed in was nice. They have a cinema in the building and me and my mates got in free cause we stayed in the hostel as well as cheaper bowling. Bristol is an amazing city and I cannot wait to go back. I wish I had booked a longer stay. |

Mark WaltonGreat city centre location, you can walk everywhere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the retro bowling venue downstairs. Rooms are basic but you get what you pay for. Will stay again and recommend to friends. |

Customer reviewAs hostels go, this was ok but I wouldn't go back. On arrival, they hadn't made note of our booking but compensated by giving us a dorm to ourselves as they had let out the double rooms. The rooms were not the cleanest but ok. Toliets were down a long hallway away from the rooms and cold, dirty and soapless. And on sat nights, music plays till 3 am due to the club night downstairs but I was able to sleep through it. The bowling place was well organised but it seems the hostel side of things may have been more of an after thought. However, the location was good and I guess it wasn't bad value for money for the city centre of Bristol. |

Nathalie chongVery basic, but considering the price you do get what you pay for. Staff were unfailing friendly, nice and helpful, bathrooms could have been cleaner though they were not disgusting. Right in the centre of town, so very good location, though with a nightclub outside and on Fri and Sat one in the bowling alley it was very noisy. Overall not luxury but certainly value for money and would probably stay there again |
