Liked: Well located, rather cheap and especially the only one in Bristol where I could find a place for a very late booking, this hostel is not worse or better than most of others I've been before.Quite well located, clean, friendly and helpful staff...However there are few things you need to know :- the mattress are really thin, and you really feel the slatted base underneath... That was OK for me but really uncomfortable for my sister who has backaches.- the bar and club at the ground floor are really nice to meet people and other travelers, but the music is extremely loud. It's a pain when you're inside ... or if you're trying to sleep.- the fingerprint recognition system may seem strange, but it's REALLY convenient and seems secure.I would then recommend this place for party people more than early sleepers, but it's not as bad as many other reviews say.

Liked: stayed 3 nights, 1st two nights we wer the only ppl in a 8 bed room, not many in the hostel also, so all was good plenty of hot water, toilet paper ete... last night got 2 extra ppl in the room and the hostel got busy! still everyting was fine. if ur lookin 4 a quiet nights sleep the club/pub below will keep ya awake, bring ear plugs, gr8 location and staff wer cool

Liked: It was not bad at all! I think there was clean and quiet enough. Not much noise, despite the night club was close. Bed was a bit hard, but it is was nice. Beddings were clean and room too. Water in shower was nicely hot and warm water came from tabs too.

Liked: Quirky hostel, I met some fun people there. The location is great for going for nights out in Bristol. The beds were quite hard but the linen was very clean. Would benefit from lockers in rooms. Good food and drink in the bar downstairs.

Liked: Pros - Free Wi-Fi even got it in my room, friendly staff, Pub downstairs that had a Jazz night which was awesome!Cons - Least maintained backpackers, had no coffee or sugar, only backpacker so far that i had to leave my passport at the counter.

Liked: Clean bathrooms, but REALLY hot showers! The bed was terrible, like sleeping on the floor and the bean bag pillow was a joke. There´s a bar right outside the window and it gets really noisy at night, only good thing about this place is its close the central bus station.

Liked: Unfortunately the duvet and pillow smell a bit. There is no signs in the room stating that there will be a step downward once you enter which itself pose as a hazard. There is no place to hang your clothes in the double room. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I also like the finger print key system and the automatic handwashing and electric as it is quite eco-friendly. Beware of the dorm room, it can be quite noisy as it is directly outside the bar.

Liked: The staffs are very friendly. they dont have a separate locker. They had a small locker room locked and opened by the staff, where we can have our belongings. Walkable distance (20 mins though) to Bristol Temple meads train station.They give bed linens. The toilets are clean and neat. I checked out in early morning ..no idea about the rush for the toilet in the morning. A kitchen is there where we can cook/reheat something. But kitchen is not clean enough. good value for money.
