Liked: I liked the free internet and great breakfast!

Disliked: There was an incident with another guest who was staying in our hostel room, though this can hardly be called the fault of the property.

Liked: The staff are amazing. The hostel itself is one of the best I have stayed in. Lots of extra effort put in by the staff. Really very good indeed.

Disliked: The extreme snorer in the dorm with us.

Liked: I had the single room and for £33 in central Brighton I would be happy if mouses were not dancing on my bed. No way did I expect what I did get: Lovely bright single room with a basin, great view of the Pavilion, wooden bed with even cushions and a throw over, a mint on the bed, a kettle with free coffee, tea and biscuit, tv, cd player, free towels (bathrobe, face, and hands), small wardrobe, drawers, bed side table, and free shampoo, shower gel, and razor!!! In addition, there are lovely communal areas (especially the patio, kitchen, and sun room). The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. There is free internet use, tv and DVD, DVD's, books, and games. The breakfast is really rich :)

Disliked: The shower pressure is not the best. However, I've lived long enough and moved often enough in the UK to know that it might be there is nothing they can do about it.

Liked: Pretty much everything - especially the Canadian guy on the front desk! Very helpful staff, and it was really, really clean.

Disliked: Nothing - it was that good.

Liked: We had a brilliant stay at Kipps Hostel Brighton thanks to the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to provide us with the most comfortable stay possible. The room was very well cleaned and we were very appreciative of the filling breakfast provided free of charge. The welcome and happy atmosphere was truly vibrant. We will definitely be back!

Disliked: There is very little to say about what I disliked...in fact I think ever aspect of this hostel was done very well.

Liked: Kipps was more like a Hotel than a Hostel. Was very modern and clean and nicely furnished. We stayed in room number 1 which was beautiful, it was bright and fresh, with a beachy feel about it. Really felt like we were on holiday, the staff were very friendly, nice common areas and excellent location. Not really a party place though but right in town so Pub/Clubs are walking distance. Definately recommend this hostel to anyone!!

Disliked: Cant even think of a single bad thing about this Hostel.

Liked: Right in the center of town, staff was very friendly and accommodating, hostel-nights (game nights, gay bar hopping-nights, etc.) created a positive atmosphere and brought travelers together.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great location, right in the heart of the city! Staff were very helpful and friendly and made my stay really relaxed, thanks guys!!

Disliked: The bunk beds squeak a a lot or maybe it was just mine.

Liked: We were welcomed by really friendly staff and although we only stayed 1 night, they made sure we were made to feel comfortable. We stayed in the 10 bedded dorm which was nice and ideal, although staying on top bunk was a bit scary as the beds wobble around a bit when climbing the stairs! Definitely will be staying there again at some point!

Disliked: The bunk beds were a little wobbly! I think maybe some more terrace chairs and tables should be invested in. That terrace area is a gem during the summer and is definitely a selling point for the hostel, but there wasn't chairs for us all. And the plants needed watering!

Liked: This was the best experience i have ever had of staying in a hostel, have stayed in many throughout the UK, nothing matches against Kipps, one night only but given best room in the house, also meal laid on for all guests for free, spag bolognese which was awesome, Elin and Ross where splendid hosts and even took a few of us out on the thursday to the local hotspots. I hope to return one day soon.
