Liked: Hostel was the cheapest deal around, for obvious reasons. Unfortunately very few parking possibilities. There might have been communal areas but the staff didnt point them out. Lack of double glazing meant a rowdy night in the city of fun. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom functional. Rooms very secure, but could do with lockers inside the rooms.

Liked: Although this is a good hostel overall in a great location, my room was ridiculuosly noisy the first night. In 7 months of travelling around the world it was the worst noise level I have experienced in any hostel anywhere in the world. My bunk was actually vibrating with the bass from the music as my room was DIRECTLY above the bar down stairs. After I complained to staff the next morning I was moved to another, much quieter room. Also no chill out area to relax in really, only the bar downstairs.

Liked: great location- friendly staff- didnt get a chance to experience it properly as I was in and out the door in a flash on way to a gig and came back and crashed late- friendly late night staff and good facilities from what I could see

Liked: The location - right in the thick of it all! The only down side was the lack in maintenance. This place has a lot more potential. Fix the lock at the top of the stairs - it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to get in with the slow swipe and pulling door manouver. Also fix the security cages under the bed & your leaks in the corridoor. When the bathroom door lock is in need of repair by your maintenance guy & another guests tells you that there is someone in there - don't open the door!! It really ruined my stay there.
