Liked: The manager was really helpful without him we would have guests gone home and we would be very lost still or very late for our eventful weekend , he made the hostel with his helpfulness and friendliness

Liked: Convinient place, just in the centre and with a paying car parking nearby. Telly, wifi internet connection, room of 4, kitchen and chill-out area. So good place to stay, relax, meet other people and get around the pictoresque centre of the city. Stuff is quite helpfull. The only thing that I don't like is all the warning notes around, it looks like you're back to primary scholl and I don't understand why after 9.30 we canno't cook?!?!?!

Liked: Nice atmosphere and friendly people, but the toilets and the showers are bad. No toiletpaper, no soap, no place for your clothes in the showers. To expensive for that missing comfort.

Liked: There was a bit of a mix up with the dates which was my fault but the owners were lovely and sorted everything. Haven't got a single complaint to make. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Liked: There are no lockers to store your stuff however the rooms are secure. People are coming and going from the dorms all the time so maybe take valuables out with you. We had such a good time at The Grapevine. Stayed for three nights in a dorm which was £12.50 a night. Met some lovely people in our room. Rooms have a sink and bunkbeds and that's it so don't expect luxury! Showers are basic but the communial areas is sweet and clean with TV, tables to eat at and the biggest cooker you've ever seen! The guy that ran it was extremely helpful and knew where all the good clubs, pubs and shops were. The location of The Grapevine couldn't be much better - slap bang in the middle of the centre. No curfew and on speaking with the manager there have been two marriages of people that have met there, two conceptions and loads of people that have become lifelong friends. Great place to stay.

Liked: Great location, nice cheap basic accommodation. Helpful staff. Only shame was no internet but there is a library just around the corner so all good. I would stay here again.

Liked: The staff is really cool and helpful. Clean and safe hostel. The location is great, in a nice part of the center. One or two more bathrooms would be better though.I would definitely recommend this place, although it might be a bit pricey.

Liked: Great value for money and great location - the dorms were very basic and no soap in the toilet or shower but we were just looking for somewhere to rest our heads for which it ticked all the boxes.
