Liked: I liked the location.

Disliked: My room and the living room too were freezing! Also, kitchen facilities were very poor.

Liked: The staff/owner was fantastically friendly. We overslept and missed the 11 o'clock check out and he was very understanding and lovely. The Location is fantastic for Brighton, right in the center of the Laines. Great place to stay, very central to everything in Brighton. Sink in bedroom was very useful as the rooms do not have en suites.

Disliked: Nothing major really, the pillows and duvet were very thin so I was quite cold but the sheets were clean and the bed quite comfortable so can't complain really. There were no lockers in rooms but there may have been a lock up or something at reception.

Liked: Really friendly staff and the owner was awesome, complete kitchen, free wifi, good location and nice atmosphere in general

Disliked: The showers either blasted freezing cold or boiling hot water and it was inconvenient after 8 when the main entrance was closed and you had to walk outside to get into the other half of the building.

Disliked: bed was not at all comfortable, felt like there were springs sticking into me all night, the common area was closed at 9:30pm each night (but i think they have now made it 11pm) moving about the place was very hard, to get to certain areas at certain times u had to leave the building

Disliked: No breakfast provided but there are facilities to make your own. Also no towel hire but the staff managed to find us one when we asked!

Liked: Grapevine north Laine has a lovely and friendly atmosphere with a perfect location. It is not on the seafront but at the very centre of the lively street,full of pubs,restaurants,colorful streets,colorful people and shopping centres. There are a few pubs just next to the hostel:)

Liked: Nice rooms and good view. you are only one street away from bars pubs and shops.

Liked: The staff was extremely accomodating in helping me get my bearings in the town when i first arrived. The rooms were clean and the beds were pre-made.

Disliked: The common bathrooms often were dirty, probably because so many people shared a bathroom.

Liked: Steve who runs the hostel is a real character and quite helpful

Disliked: The showers were pretty average but no worse than any other hostel that I have stayed in and only due to the water pressure, they were clean enough.

Liked: It was very close to the seafront and had everything we needed. 24 hour access gave us enough freedom.

Disliked: the fire alarm kept going off one day and the toilets were out of order.

Liked: I like the location. You are in the Centre of Brighton

Disliked: I dislike the price increasing during the weekend: I paid 30 gbp per night :-(

Liked: I liked everything about this hostel: The staff was very forthcoming and friendly, the central location was perfect for a walk in the city and at the same time just a walk of some minutes away from the beach. The hostel had everything a hostel basically needs and was very cheap. Perfect!
