Liked: It was a very good location close to pleasure beach and the new waterpark! Good walking distance to North Pier but was a great view.

Disliked: Beds were a bit old but was good enough for a few nights

Liked: I liked the close proximity to the beach and the piers, which is by far the best part of Blackpool.

Disliked: The property looks like it could use some real updates as the house is getting quite old. The room also felt a little dirty around the corners but the bedding was clean and I had an ocean view which made up for it! I found the local people in Blackpool not the friendliest. The city looks like it has seen better days, plus the tower was under renovations and did not look overly appealing.

Liked: Staff were friendly despite having to wait around to answer the doorbell/return keys. Conveniently located. The bed was clean and breakfast enjoyable.

Disliked: The property was old and in need of decorating and the rooms were dirty. The sink hadn't been cleaned, the bin emptied, or the floor vacuumed since the last guest had stayed. There were beer cans, a bottle of ketchup, shoes and baby things belonging to the owners in the public areas of the hostel. The lock and handle on my door looked as though it was about to fall off or had been broken off before. The front window was smashed and the window in my private single room would not shut (with a ladder outside leaning against the wall!) - didn't feel very safe. It was noisy and rowdy, but that was expected.

Liked: Really nice staff, otherwise very basic. Showers and toilets very old, just like most of the place. Must have been a nice place when it was new, but this is some time ago. But considering the city, it's alright, as nobody seems to expect mroe than that in Blackpool. Location is great.

Liked: The lady was very helpful and friendly, but the bathroom was disgusting, it didnt look like it had ever been cleaned. Also we asked for a portable heater as our room was freezing while we were out she removed it from our room to use for herself. So if you want budget then i would recommend it.
