Customer reviewOutstanding accommodation, very clean and well served. Excellent location, in a safe and quiet area, 15 mins walk from new street station and the very city centre. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a stay in Birmingham. |

Agnieszka DabrowskaApart from the place itself which is very nice and clean, it certainly wouldn't be that good without the people working there. Best wishes for all of you!!!! Thank you!!! Agnieszka |

Phyllis LemoncelloStaff were exceptionally helpful from the start - letting me in at 5.30am and inviting me to have a rest and enjoy some tea and snacks downstairs at no extra cost. Also when I had to leave at 2am to catch a long-distance bus, no problem, then when I turned up an hour later as the bus hadn't appeared I was still welcome to go back to bed and have a good sleep. Also no fuss when I managed to snap my entry card by sitting on it. The property was really quiet even on Saturday night when younger people might have been partying and was very clean throughout. Particularly liked the fact that they encouraged people to be neat and tidy in a friendly way and had facilities for recycling paper, bottles, cans etc. The bathroom facilities were excellent and the en-suite in my room was bigger than my living-room at home! All sinks and shower cabinets had hand/body wash available and paper towels on a roll were available hands-free - great at a time when swine flu is still around. The big bonus was having heated towel rails in the bathroom - terrific! and very necessary for travellers. The bunk-beds were exceptionally comfortable with cosy duvets and supportive mattresses so always had a great sleep. If anything the rooms were a bit too warm but we could adjust the thermostat to suit ourselves. Didn't have the opportunity to try out the bigger items like washing machines, fridges etc. but they all looked very clean and kitchen supplies (bread - white and brown, marg, tea, coffee etc.) were regularly replenished. Booking was simple and facilities very cheap considering we were only a short walk from the city centre. Advice on where to visit, how to get there and supply of maps etc. was excellent - will definitely be back with friends and family again. Best hostel I have ever used, without a doubt! |

Customer revieweverything. I loved the room that I stayed in,that was a six beddded all girls room. My bed was nice, clean, firm and comfy. the room and bathroom were claean and I slept like a log. I loved the dining room cos it was in the cellar, it was different and a good way to use a cellar. The tv lounge was comfy and homely. |
