I went to the this hostel last year and I did not like the people running it. Now there are 2 local guys who are very friendly and ver dedicated. They also know Birmingham pretty well. I like the location, new friendly staff, and price.

the staff is so helpful, they showed us on the map what to see in bhx without asking. very near to the bus station and bullring. i stayed in another appt 100 metres away from the hostel in which the private rooms are housed. one bath for eight rooms there.

The hostel is quite close to the city centre of Birmingham (10 min walk). Furthermore it was one of the cleanest hostels I've ever seen, and the dvd collection (with big screen!) is impressive!
