Liked: This place is awesome. very friendly staff, good washrooms/shower, great common area with lots of books and a mega projection tv. Free breakfast and wifi. I was only there 2 nights but i would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling through the area

Disliked: Shower didnt have much water pressure.

Liked: The staff went beyond the call of duty for everything, probably the most friendly I have come across during my trips... they certainly added value to the hostel. Loved the pod rooms, great idea.

Disliked: Instructions on how to get to the hostel could receive some improvement, they are good, but could be better ;)

Liked: cool atmosphere. The main sitting area is really nice and makes you feel at home.

Disliked: Room smelt a little funny. you could get over it though

Liked: great location, nice relaxed atmosphere, tea,internet,clean towels available etc enough to feel comfortable, the staff are very helpfull.

Disliked: maybe the door code should be changed more often its usually the same when i stay which could be bad for security issues.

Liked: this hostel is awsome! couldnt have asked for anything better. supplyed breakfast everymorning and even dinner like pizza and hot dogs. the staff were so freindlt and helpful and its right near the bus stop and a quick walk to town. defintaly stay here !!

Liked: Terrific atmosphere, with good facilities!

Disliked: we were not aloud in the social area after 12pm or aloud to bring alcohol into the establishment, even after the bar completely ran out of alcohol!

Liked: the staff is very friendly. Also they organize nice things for the guests, like serving free hotdogs on tuesday nights... the hostel is spotlessly clean, very nive, the cleanest hostel i've been to thus far (and i've seen many).

Disliked: nothing. I liked everything.

Liked: The variety of colours and random objects in the main lounge/reception area. All the staff were really helpful and the free tea and coffee were very much appreciated. The location was also really handy, literally in the middle of Birmingham.

Disliked: It would have been nice to have been able to stay in the lounge area past midnight, but it didn't really affect the overall experience so much.

Liked: The property overall was ok (as expected). I liked the free hotdogs, tea and evening movie. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

Disliked: I stayed at the Hostel, so that I could see the city and get some rest before an early morning flight from Birmingham Int. Airport, but almost had no sleep due to the partying in the main room (where they also sell alcohol) and outdoor garden/ smoking area and later on - in the corridor outside the dorm room. Well, the good thing was, I had no trouble waking up :) Anyway, the staff should have calmed those guys a bit.

Liked: The friendliness. The staff were excellent. I stayed there once before and yet one of the staff recognized me right away and had a chat. I was AMAZED at that!

Disliked: To be honest there wasn't anything that I didn't like. My first time there I was concerned about the area it was in, as it is an unusual loacation. But to be honest it is pretty safe. Happy to return anytime and also to recommend it to others.

Liked: Good range of facilities. Clean room. Close proximity to city centre. Lots of character.

Disliked: Showers can be a little tricky to get the hang off. Staff, while friendly, can be slightly stand-offish.

Liked: Nice staff, wifi, dvd's, I was in the private room, the views was not amazing (i just some industrial buildings) but all was clean, warm and fine! Thanks!

Disliked: The private room doesn't have wifi because is in an other building

Liked: Loved the atmosphere, the decor and overall ambience. Very cheap, good facilities, friendly helpful staff. Was made very welcome. Lovely warm fire and comfy seats in common room. Our room in a separate block was clean, well decorated and had a lovely warm radiator. Excellent value for money.

Disliked: Our separate building was next door to an industrial plant which was noisy throughout much of the night and disturbed us despite the earplugs provided. The building also seemed quite a distance away and felt not part of the nice atmosphere a the centre. Room would have benefitted from a bedside light and some hooks on which to hang clothes.

Liked: 15 out of 10 for services and friendliness - this hostel is truly welcoming and looks after its guests well. Definitely recommended to any traveller
