Liked: A really nice hostel, Good value for the monney you pay. Also apparenly there was something with my reservation so they uppgraded my room to the Pod one for no extra charge. IF you ever go there stay in the pod. really good idea. 2 thumbs up.

Disliked: Even if the wifi /internett are free. then the connection speed on the computers you can borrow are slow. veery slow.

Liked: It was a hostel with a great community spirit! They are offering sctivities like film nights, which I really enjoyed., Also the staff was very friendly and I could have tea whenever I wanted (for free)!

Disliked: The area seemed a bit dodgy

Liked: It was very interesting and colorful. I have never seen so much color in any building before and I was in a pod room where the bed area i had felt like a barrack but i liked it. It felt more private.

Disliked: Overall it was nice but located in a dodgy area. I am travelling alone so when i heard another backpacker was mugged at 3 in the afternoon and knocked out with a metal pole it freaked me out but i was always with someone so i felt safer but the hostel itself was safe

Liked: I liked the lovely atmosphere: I seemed to be at home! Peolple inside are very kind and funny and I felt very well among them. When I needed help or any kind of information, they gave me all their patience and knowledge to help me in the best way possible. I could find a lot of friends and, even if I was far from home, I didn't feel sad or alone. I'd like to suggest this hostel to everyone who wants to visit Birmingham, because it's also really cheap (one of the cheapest hostel in UK, I said) Moreover, It's well-located: it's close to the city centre and also to the main transport routes. I think I will come to the hostel back as soon as possible!!

Disliked: A lot of people kinda lived here, staying for months. Bit strange.

Liked: 1. Professional, warm, friendly and welcoming staff 2. Perfect location: close to coach, train station and city centre 3. Homely ambience, free internet access, excellent meals and refreshment. 4. Clean and well maintained. 5. Beds are OK, good bathrooms and toilets. 6. Price very reasonable and great value for your money!

Disliked: In two separate buildings but they are only a couple or so blocks apart!

Liked: Absolutely lovely hostel. The staff at the counter were so friendly it made us felt like we were back home. Also very value for money as they provide both breakfast and dinner. The staff upgraded our room for us from a 12 bed room to a 6 bed room for free! Amazing!

Liked: The location is walking distance to everything and has a lot of character. The staff is helpful. Toilet and bathroom were clean...

Disliked: I brought earplugs but the noise of the surroundings (industrial not nightlife) continue until late in the night.

Liked: The offer of things to do in the lobby is amazing, and the staff is super friendly. Had a great time. UNBELIEVABLE value for money.

Liked: I forgot I had got depresion caused by the weather, when I entered, :) Really colourful, peaceful and full of young people. I liked accessibility to the kitchen friendly and helpful staff and warm climate there. I have never stayed in such well organized hostel so far.

Disliked: Nevertheless the hostel is very very close to city centre I would never walk those 2 minutes from the main road to the hostel after sunset. Dangerous, quiet area for me.

Liked: Excellent atmosphere, very friendly staff, good movies and pizza. Only stayed one night but I wouldn't mind staying more. I loved it!

Liked: They have quite big common room where all guests can play games, watch movie, and have breakfast or just a break together! I fancy their decoration the most!

Liked: I loved all. All the staff was always nice and helpful at any time. The room was big, the bed comfortable and the hostel was very clean and tidy. As a location it is also very well situated in the city centre. I would say when I will come back here I will sure come back here,absolutely!!
