Liked: Very close to downtown. Books and DVDs available for your use. Internet.

Disliked: The showers on my floor weren't working. My room was very cold, but I heard others saying theirs were too hot.

Liked: Excellent secure parking and a television/ DVD player in the dorm with a huge selection of DVD's. Comfy bed and very clean. Also liked the open fire and projector in the common room and the free tea and coffee

Liked: Really close to the city center and bus station; easy enough to find; free breakfast, nightly buffet, tea/coffee/hot chocolate; friendly and helpful staff. The rooms where ,clean the beds comfy. Loved the whole homely atmosphere. Kitchen was fully fitted as well as free internet and free towels available.Good value for the monney you pay.

Liked: you needed a key code to enter the building with bedrooms (1 of the 2), so it was very secure; they had a little lot in the back to put your car/bike; really close to the city center and bus station; easy enough to find; free breakfast, nightly buffet, tea/coffee/hot chocolate; friendly and helpful staff

Disliked: although it is technically not a 24 hour reception, there is someone who stays overnight just in case of emergencies or late check ins..so no biggie!

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The rooms where clean and good beds. Above good for a backpackers/hostel

Disliked: Maybe a bit more safety around the location, not really the accomodations responsibility but maybe a talk with the council would help.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the whole homely atmosphere. Hot drinks available 24hrs. They gave us a jug of milk for our tea/coffee in our room, and apologised the next morning for the early 'noise' from the business next door - which we heard as we were waking up. Clean, fresh bedding and a lovely fleece throw.

Disliked: Although we slept well, we could feel the springs poking through the mattress quite badly. Room could do with a few hooks, but we coped by hanging clothes over bed headboard!

Liked: The location was great although in a bit of a roughf part of the city. The staff were nice and friendly. Looks a bit unfinished as the building next door is converted form an old office block but.

Disliked: No Licence to sell booze. I was looking foward to just sitting and chatting but they are currently renewing thier licence so cannot sell booze or bring it in so the atmosfear suffered. This was the reason I booked a hostel with a bar.

Liked: This hostel was really close to the city centre. Kitchen was fully fitted as well as free internet and free towels available. The staff were quite helpful.

Liked: It's quite close to the city centre and the staff was nice and alsways there for you. The breakfast is average but a big plas is that they serve a small dinner for free every night. Internet is for free and the common room looks cool, colorful and layed back.

Disliked: The room was a bit smelly and my mattress was to small fot the bed and it was quite noise during the nights. There are no lockers in the room and a sink and toilet were broken and no one seemed to care.

Liked: It had a really great vibe, the lounge area is the perfect place to just chill out with a book, your laptop and a cup of freely available tea or coffee. The staff are really friendly and always ready for a chat and because the hostel has guests that have been there for up to a year it's really safe, people leave laptops and phones lying around and to date nothing's ever been knicked (I asked).

Disliked: The beds were really creaky, and I've slept in some creaky beds so I'm not exaggerating. These are the creakiest of the creaky beds, which is annoying if you have a restless sleeper in your dorm and you've got an early morning.
