Liked: It would be good, when some windows in the rooms could open themselves.. In the triple room No 15 it was not possible.. but everything was nice... :))

Liked: The staff was so helpful even carried my bag upstairs for me. Free breakfast and late night snack was great. Really close to the city centre even though the physical location is a bit rough around the edges but overall safe and great place. Met great people there and the hostel made my trip to birmingham worth it. Also pretty clean and you have a shower and sink in your room!

Liked: Location is within walking distance of all the Birmingham City Centre hotspots. Very friendly en helpfull staff. Rooms, toilets en bathroom were clean. Laidback atmoshpere. I'd recommend this propertey to anyone: couples, travelleres looking to meet other travellers, travellers looking for privacy.....It's all up to you.

Liked: In meinem Raum war ne Dusche und mehrere Schließfächer (eigenes Schloß). Man kann auch gut mal am Abend da bleiben. DIe haben eine unvorstellbare Filmauswahl (eine ganze große Regalwand). Man konnte vor der Haustür parken. Es ist zwar wie die meisten Backpacker Hostels quischbunt, aber man fühlt sich trotzdem wohl.

Liked: Common room seemed like a real backpackers place. Got a good feeling about travelling and where to go next. Rooms were nice, rather big dorms, matresses were not so good. Very clean facilities.

Liked: Actually, I was about to say this was the best hostel I had ever stayed in, and it was true the first two nights... then Friday night came. And Saturday, and Sunday! Nowhere was it mentioned on the hostel's website that there was a club right next door blasting ear-splitting, angryl music until 6am. The sound was so loud that the door and mirrors shook throughout the night in the hostel. I think THAT would have been worth mentionning. So, throughout the week, it's a wonderful hostel, one of the best in the UK. But at the week ends... if I were to come back to Birmingham, I'd look for another place.

Liked: Everything was just perfect, very comfortable beds, clean toilets and showers, an included breakfast including bread and a considerable range of jams, a very friendly staff and a lot of interesting people. Last but not least the low prize makes it a very attractive hostel. I had a fantastic stay at this hostel 100%

Liked: I came for the 2nd time, because I like the colourful decoration and always good indie tunes. There's actually not much reason to leave the hostel during the day, they keep you entertained and the atmosphere among staff and guests is good. Plus half board adds to the excellent value!

Liked: It is a great place to be on holiday, to hang out with others and to relax. The atmoshphere is just great, staff is nice and helps you where they can. You are very free but you also can use so many things. Its the best and most friendly hostel I ever stayed in and it was so cheap!!

Liked: This hostel is so central although caution if youre heading there on your own at night - its down a side street and felt quite dodgy however in the day is fine. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the hostel is lively and the decor is fantastic! My room was a little squeezed for space with 5 of us, could have been better if the middle bed was removed buy I still definitely felt I got value for money :)

Liked: It couldn't be closer to the coach station. It is very close to the New Street train station once you know the shortcut through the shopping centre. I like the building #2, as it is quieter. Building #1 is great if you are looking to make friends. I like the idea of free food and movies in the evening, though I have never managed to manage to check it out. The shared bathrooms in building #2 are fine, enough space in the shower for your stuff to stay dry, and not too many people, never had to wait for anything.
