Liked: An easy bus ride into the centre/broad street. Good Breakfast, although only 7-9am. The staff are super friendly and made the place feel like home. Some of the rooms have showers in them(Standard Doubles), a strange water feature!!!Would easily recommend to couples, much cheaper than hostel for private room. £35.

Liked: This is a nice quaint hotel with a nice breakfast and friendly helpful staff. It is about a 30 minute walk from the city centre but a great place to stay.

Liked: Helpful staff, you'll have to take a bus ride to the center and pay the fare in exact coins. Breakfast was very well!

Liked: Location was good. Walls are very thin. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Make sure you book a non smoking room, as ours stunk so much it the smell stained our clothes and gave us headaches.

Liked: The hotel was quite far from the town centre but there was a good bus connection. The staff was very helpful and nice, they called a taxi for me, which was quite cheap (7 Pounds to the New Street station), they had as well different kinds of plug-adapters which I needed. The room and bathroom were very clean, the towels seemed to be even new. Just the duvet under the cover had already a grey color and smelt a little bit as if it wouldn´t be aired out or washed for longer time. There was no hair-drier in the room or bathroom but they gave me one from the reception.There was a cooker in the room and a bowl with some teas, coffees in the bags, sugar, milk and a biscuit. There was an iron with an ironing board in the corridor, internet connection and TV in the rooms (which didn´t work in my room) but there wasn´t any table or chair in my room.Very simple and small hotel, but clean and not expensive, the staff is nice and it is situated in a quiet area. I would say, good for one or two nights, for longer I would choose probably something nicer.

Liked: Close to the place where I wanted to go next day. Was reasonable clean, did not have an ensuite bathroom, had to share. Happy with the price and location.

Liked: People that welcomed us were really kind and helpfull... We really appreciate our time there as a nice place to relax. The localisation was good because the hotel is on many direct bus lines to the city center. We really enjoyed our time there.
