Liked: Excellent value for money. Attractive looking property. I was so pleased it was lovely and warm, very clean and so quiet, perfect for my overnight stay. I used the communal shower, which was so clean too. The owner was so accomodating even though I arrived four hours later than I had said. Breakfast was lovely and healthy with a super selection. The Prince Hotel is definately a place I would like to stay again. Thank you Prince.

Disliked: The only problem was the internet code I was given, didn't seem to work on my laptop, which was probably a good thing as the early night did me good for the busy day I had which followed.

Liked: It is a small hotel and the owner and his wife is very helpful. It is not in central Birmingham, so you have to take a bus or taxi. It is no restaurants or shops in the area, so you have to eat and do the shopping before you go back to the hotel.

Disliked: The area is boring. No elevator and my room was on the third floor.

Liked: We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The facitlies were in excellent condition and very clean. The continental breakfast was extensive as well .We thoroughly enjoyed our whole experience and we would highly recommend this to other travellers,

Disliked: There was nothing negative we can say about Prince Hotel. It exceeded our expectations.

Liked: Staff was extremely polite, pleasant and helpful. We had the en suite room, it was quite warm, large and comfortable. The location is not far away from the city centre. Buses are quite often and the bus stop is 1 min walk from the hostel, pretty handy. We recommend the hostel, no doubt :) :)

Liked: Really helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast (wide range of cereals, toast, spreads, juice, tea, coffee, egg and fruits). Had a homely feel and the gentleman let us use the microwave and sauces for our dinner.

Disliked: The room had a really bad lingering smell of smoke. Possibly a new paint job and carpets would help this go. Also, the shower pressure was extremely poor. If these 2 things were fixed it would be a perfect place to stay.

Liked: We had a shower and sink in our room and a TV. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff were very friendly. There were tea and coffee making facilities.

Disliked: The room was a bit small for two people, there wasn't much space between the bed and other furniture. As mentioned before, the shower would cut out while in use for about 10-20 seconds and when it did come back it was really cold. The walls were quite thin and we could here other guests talking in their rooms and out in the halls. An alarm went off early one morning and woke us up. The location was ok, it was too far to walk to the city centre but was close to the bus stop and buses were quite frequent. Wouldn't be too bad if you had a car.

Liked: Room was clean and spacious. It was great that it had tea and coffee making facilities in the room which you don't even get in some basic hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice bedding in room, comfortable bed.

Disliked: The radiator in the bathroom was leaking onto the carpet which meant that the bathroom smelled quite musty. That is my only complaint about the place.

Liked: Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Good value for money; no more expensive than a hostel. Beds were very comfortable.

Disliked: Smell of stale smoke in the bedroom. Slightly shabby decor.

Liked: The staff was very nice and very helpful. We got there at 10 am and we were expecting to have to wait a few hours to get the key to our room, but the lady got us our room ready straight away! Very nice woman, very helpful :) Good place to stay, basic but clean and friendly, with a good breakfast. Would recommend to everyone.

Disliked: A bit far from the city center but many buses nearby so it's not really a problem.

Liked: Very friendly reception from owner after we'd rung ahead to say we wouldn't arrive until about midnight. Eager to offer local advice re roads/directions. Continental breakfast - no friend breakfast - excellent. Rooms clean, Shower in room and toilets nearby. Lack of ensuite toilet no problem, and makes the room excellent value - just over £30 for two of us in a double room. Basically, it's an excellent guesthouse rather than hostel or hotel.

Liked: Auch wenn die Unterkunft nicht mitten in der Innenstadt liegt, hat man die Möglichkeit mit dem Bus zügig dorthin zu kommen. Die Busse fahren alle paar Minuten und die Haltestelle ist nur wenige Meter vom Prince Hotel entfernt.

Liked: You get what you pay for, good beds, okay bathrooms, romcleaning everyday, an okay breakfast. The mobility was very good, lots of busses passing, got an overview when we arrived.
