Liked: It's very good value to have a room to yourself for just £22..There are frequent buses to Bath city centre..approx £1 each way..bus takes just 10mins to city..Rooms are clean..

Disliked: The kitchen does not have equipment in it like saucepans or frying pans..neither does it have plates etc..therefore it's necessary to bring or buy your own if you want to use the kitchen facilities..Another difficulty at Uni of Bath accom is that my experience on 2 visits there is that people in accom office give quite loose instructions about finding your room when u first go there..be sure to get exact instructions from them..the sign-posting for the houses in which the rooms are is poor

Liked: Very quiet, clean and safe. Very peaceful area, I even saw a badger!

Disliked: A bit far away from Bath city center. There is a big hill to reach university campus. Buses run every 10-20 mins. This accommodation is available only during summer time and there are not night buses...

Liked: Clean, good bathroom facility, safe campus well lit and lots of people around.

Disliked: Far from Bath. Two and a half miles on the bus up hill. A dark walk from the town although many buses. Cab cost 8 quid at midnight from town. When returning the keys, I was told to give them back altogether - booked two rooms, one for one night and one for two. On the second night, as I still had the key (but wasn't going to use the room, my friend was staying for two nights), I saw that another person was in 'my' room meaning that two keys had been issued. Not very safe at all!

Liked: The University is out of town on top of a large hill but the bus service is good and if you have your own transport then it is not a problem. The rooms are clean and warm and have communal kitchen and shared bathroom/showerooms/toilets. Security is very good with a keycard entry system into the halls of residence and secure locks on each bedroom. I can recommend the University for single travellers and families/groups. I was only staying for one night so did not have a chance to check out the facilities on offer.

Disliked: The walls are a bit thin so you can hear other people and doors opening/closing but at this time of year the halls of residence are mostly empty. It is a University with several residential halls so it can be a little confusing to find your way around but reception will issue you with a map. There is also a parking fee for the large carparks but this is still cheaper than parking in Bath. There are shared facilies but they are clean and the water is hot and the kitchens are large enough to cope.

Liked: It's a good place to stay in Bath but It's quite far away from the city center.

Disliked: It's far away from city center but you can take a bus to go there around 15-20 mins from city center.

Liked: Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, nice clean rooms, friendly staff;

Disliked: The kitchen facilities were very poor: no cutlery, no crockery whatsoever.

Liked: A private for 20 quid? Excellent. A very good idea to turn unused uni accom in the summer into backpacker beds. Towel, soap and great room. Good cooking facilities. Very very clean.

Disliked: Just a few little things showing it is a pop-up-hostel. Not bad, just things they didnt think of like washing up gear. Its a bit of a hike up a huge hill from town but there is excellent bus service. Just dont expect tourist services ;)

Liked: It looked exactly as in the advertisement and was clean as well, what is very important too.

Disliked: In the night I could hear everything-conversations, movements in the property.

Liked: The location was perfect for the activities booked for the stay. It was clean, tidy and quiet. Facilities perfectly adequate. No frills accommodation.

Disliked: No crockery or cooking equipment is provided in any of the kitchens, which is fine but should be mentioned that you need to take your own or eat out!

Liked: Great value for money, easy to find, clean facilities.

Disliked: Bring your own dinner and breakfast and EVERYTHING you need for it - cutlery, bowls, cups. They provide you with a great kitchen but no cutlery, crockery or basic supplies.

Liked: As I carefully read reveiws of previous customers the only thing that would have been annoying was where to pick the keys up from after the reception hours as the security office is quite deep in the campus. As I called ahead and got the location details we went straight in, met the very friendly security guards that helped as much as they could about the campus, buses to town and what to see in Bath. The Rooms where spotlessly clean and although there it was a shared toilet and shower for each floor in the dorm they were also very clean! The rooms aren't massive but were comfortable. The beds are single beds but comfy enough for a short stay. Although we had to pay or parking it was only £5 or so and we could leave the car there all day and catch the tourist bus into central bath right across from the car park. for the price I couldn't have been happier and if I do go to bath again I would stay there again.

Disliked: Not much, I didn't use the kitchen so can't comment there. I think if you went in the middle of winter the only down fall would be the long cold walk from the car park, to the security office or to the check in office and then to the dorms. I would recommend wrapping up and carrying only what you need to the room 1st go to avoid having to go back and fourth because the campus was quite spread out (like most uni campuses.) Other thing was there was only one Cafe open right at the back of the Sporting complex which was also a long walk and not too easy to find, best jumping straight on a bus and having breakfast in town or taking food and using the kitchen.

Liked: When you get a card from accommodation service centre, you can use computer and access to internet free anytime 24 hours at the library. The kitchen is in the dormitory, you can cook if you want, but I just like the idea that I can drink a cup of coffee anytime when I feel like to.

Disliked: I know bathroom isn't in the room, but it would be nice if there was.

Liked: I liked the rooms as they were very clean and secure. The campus is beautiful!

Disliked: The only problem I had with this place was its location to the city centre. It was a 15 minute bus ride or a 20-30 minute walk down a very steep hill.
