Liked: close to transport like bus and train and the attractions, free internet, spacious rooms

Disliked: not overly clean. showers only on 1 level. leaks and building repairs going on, not overly friendly staff

Liked: Location was perfect! It was easy to find and just around the corner from the sights. The staff (except for the guy at check out) were friendly.

Disliked: It was pretty run-down inside. The bathrooms and showers were in the basement which was a bit of a trek. The guy at reception when I checked out was a dick, to put it plainly--this ended a mediocre hostel stay on a bit of a sour note. The lockers in the room were a bit flimsy.

Liked: Everyone was really friendly, staff and fellow travellers. Was nice and quiet at nite to get some sleep. I like how the main common room off the kitchen was pretty much closed down after 10:30pm, and every one was asked to move downstairs to the dungeon for any late nite partying

Disliked: The ONLY thing I didn't enjoy was the showers. All the showers were in the basement, and they weren't hot. They are the pushbutton type. not unusual for a backpackers, but the water pressure wasn't good, and the water kept going from cold to warm and back again.

Liked: The location

Disliked: The toilets where filthy and alot had troubles flushing, if they did at all. The place is pretty run down and wasn't a lot of fun. Wouldn't stay again unless elsewhere was booked out.

Liked: It was an old building with plenty of character, a cellar section to hang out in which was great fun with friends.

Disliked: Toilets and showers were a bit dirty, most things felt old including the mattresses! If you don't mind roughing it a bit, it's location makes up for everything else.

Liked: Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff except one drunk guy. Location near the centre.

Disliked: There is no own parking. Hot water in showers without the possibility of regulating it.

Liked: it had a roof and didnt have a curfew.

Disliked: wouldnt recommend this hostel,avoid if at all possible,its fine if your looking for something very basic...no atmosphere,decent common area,bathrooms are really smelly,beds are uncomfortable-hard and springy.

Liked: I had a great time here, I only stayed one night but if I had known I would have stayed all my days in Bath in this hostel, great atmosphere, Matt and Tania, both working at the hostel were very friendly and even invited me to go for a drink with them, we had a blast.

Disliked: Showers a bit far away from the rooms all the way down inside the builiding, and not enough toilets.

Liked: Really close to public transport and all tourist attractions. Nice laid-back vibe,a actually got some good sleep in an 8 bed dorm! Staff were really friendly, free luggage storage, good kitchen facilities.

Disliked: the showers had terrible pressure and were push button

Liked: The decorations and size of the rooms. We were also given bed covers as well. There were no extra charges or anything like that. Apart from a £5 deposit per person but you get that back as long as you behave!

Disliked: There wasn't anything to dislike.

Liked: Super good location and very clear direction on the website. It is within five minutes walk from the train station and coach station.

Disliked: Not enough toilets at peak time.

Liked: Great location. Everything just round the corner.

Disliked: You had to pay for internet and leaving your luggage with them. Other hostels offer those services for free.

Liked: The proximity to the city center and the beds themselves

Disliked: literally everything else- no free breakfast, no free Internet(the wifi is crap) the bathrooms are awful, the whole building feels like it's about to come down any second

Liked: well located. close to train station and main tourist attractions.

Disliked: Facilities are quite old. The rooms are dark. I booked twice at different times. The second night I was in a dorm at top floor facing the main street, it was too noisy.

Liked: Free hairdryer.

Disliked: Noise. No soundproof what so ever and there's a bar just right down the street. Seagulls kept screaming right under the window. Lights didn't work in the toilet. No hot water and the flow of water in the shower was terrible.
