Liked: The staff was amazing! Will go back if I ever get the chance... I have never met so many nice people. Probably my favorite hostel I have ever stayed in. They TRUELY treat you as a friend. The rooftop was incredible, I could spend some serious time there.

Disliked: The internet was "broken" which I am not sure if they ever really had it. But they were helpful to point out an internet cafe right down the street.

Liked: this is really the best price-quality hotel ever! the hostel has an amazing roof for relaxing and there is free dinner on friday! the rooms and everything is clean and there is toiletpaper in the toilets. Amr (manager) (and the rest of the staff) is very friendly and he helps you with everything you need without pushing you to do anything. the location is perfect; close to the station, the nile, shops and so on. they arrange a bike for you if you need which is nice! i would absolutely go in this hostel again when im in luxor.

Liked: Good location, close to train station. All the staffs were nice and very hospitable. Cheap to stay but the rooms and toilets were very clean. I would definitely come back here if I ever come here again and recommend others to stay here.

Liked: Staff was very helpful and accommodating, put us in 2 and 3 bed rooms even though we had booked larger dorms. Great rooftop patio for breakfast!

Liked: friendly and helpful english speaking staff. never pushy on tours. excellent location. Just in Bahr Street (the second street off Television Street). Close to a small supermarket and fastfood store. close to River Nile and Luxor Temple.Free internet access! there is a TV in lobby.good character and atmosphere to meet other travellers!!very good value for money and i highly recommend to other travellers.

Liked: An excellent house to stay in. It felt more like a home than a hostel. The guys are really easy going and so friendly. No staff pushing tours on you. The free friday night dinner is excellent. Great location and good clean rooms and bathrooms. I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend this place to everyone.

Liked: I was a bit disappointed to discover that the Bob Marley Hostel doesn't have quite the chill out vibe I was hoping for, but the free Friday dinner was great.

Liked: The location is down a side street that would be very dodgy-looking in a western country but here, is absolutely safe and usually full of friendly kids. This place lives up to its motto of "No Hassle", which is very good in Luxor because you're going to be hassled by touts in most other locations. The exception to this is if you take a right onto the main street outside the hostel; if you go down here you will find authentic Luxor with incredibly friendly people and cheap food, both of which unfortunately seem to be mostly absent near the temples and the Nile.

Liked: Outstanding staff. Very basic amenities reflect the price - do not have high expectations. The mattresses aren't suitable if you suffer back/neck problems, but management will provide extra if requested. Quite a trek up to the roof garden but worth it for the good breakfast and hammock in the evenings. Recommended for the very budget-conscious traveller as you will need the cash to pay for just about everything else outside of the hostel, or the stamina to say 'NO!' to tour guides, horse and carts, baggage handlers, etc. You can get around on your own much cheaper.
