Liked: so well located, exactly what you need for an UNBEATABLE good price

Disliked: nothing, staff a little pushy at the end for a good review, but that was understandable as there have been false reviews written by competing hostels in luxor on trip advisor (you do not need to have stayed at a hostel to review it on trip advisor)

Liked: Rooms were super big, clean, with hot water and AC, and super cheap. Breakfast was nice, sunset tea was magical, rooftop restaurant was cheaper and better than most places around Luxor. Staff were all incredibly helpful. Wifi worked everywhere. Atmosphere was fantastic, rooftop restaurant was also a really awesome place to hang out after a hot day in the sun and meet people and the beer is really affordable, 8.5LE for a large one. The street the hostel was on was really safe, and the shop owners were all really friendly.

Disliked: Cereal with the breakfast wasn't the best, but you got enough other food to make up for it.

Liked: Hotel clean, tidy, bed comfy with ok air con / fan. Friendly staff. Lovely views of the Nile. Enjoyed the evening tea. Very cheap trips. & well organised trips.

Disliked: The breakfast boy was pretty slow. Think the milk (only thing I can think of) was out of date too, as a result my stomach was out of sorts for a week.

Liked: Staff was super friendly and helpful. This place is an amazing value. Also enjoyed meeting other travelers on the rooftop terrace.

Disliked: While I don't think the tours from this place are a bad value, we were able to save a few bucks by doing things on our own.

Liked: close to everything, nice and helpful staff, reasonable price for the day tours, nice roof for sunrise and sunset, free breakfast and sunset tea. you can stay there having shower and rest though you have checked out. we were invited to local wedding by the staff which is a great experience for us.

Liked: the location is very good, just a few minutes walk from train station, the owner is quite friendly, send us email beforehand for all the arrangement.

Disliked: the hot water issue!!!! normally if the first person uses more than 10 min, there is no hot water afterwards, one must wait for quite a while which is quite annoying! The trips organized by Oasis is more expensive than other places..

Liked: Clean, cozy and blue! LOL BUT OVERALL IT WAS -spacious-cool-dry-does not look like a used whore house like the one hostel i stayed at in Cairo....-They give towels, toilet paper and air conditioning!Everyone greets you with a smile and TEA!!!!Booking tours to West Nile was fast and Easy! CHEAP TOO, saves time on hastling with taxis and wasting money on annoying *half knowledgable* guides. We had a certified egyptologist. Never asked for tip... only for driver.

Disliked: No shower curtains, I felt a little guilty about the floors getting soaked everytime i took a shower.... ALSO, PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR. Ask what fee covers what and why! I HAD A MINOR MISTAKE (not their fault) IN PAYING 60 EGYPTIAN POUNDS. AT FIRST I THOUGHT I WAS PAYING FOR THE TEMPLE OF KARNAK ENTRY FEE. TURNS OUT IT WAS FOR PRIVATE CAB DRIVER! darn!

Liked: Excellent staff who are extremely helpful. My wife was very sick on our second day and they were extremely accomodating in sorting out a room for a bit longer as well as ice to keep her cool.Great location, near town and basic but clean rooms and bathrooms. Great rooftop bar/retaurant (cheap as) where you can sit back and rrelax after a day of visiting the Valley of Kings...

Liked: The hostel is near the railway station. Its owner Hassan is very kind and makes you feel like in home. He gives some advices to the guests about Luxor and the things to visit. I went with some frinds and meet other kind people in this hostel. The terrace is very nice, and is used to breakfast and meet the people in the check-in. The rooms are nice and clean, instead the beds are not very confortable. Summarizing, a place to have fun and meet people in Luxor.
