 the staff here is very helpful, and they provide FREE transportation from airport/cruise/train station to the hotel, this is really of good value. we enjoyed our stay here very much, and special thanks to Amro, he is very funny and helpful.

The staff here were very friendly & laid back. They served breakfast individually to everyone when we were ready, and even threw in a free dinner one night. Breakfast was great, an omlette, yoghurt, OJ, chocolate croissant, cereal, bread & cheese & jam then tea or coffee. The room was big & had aircon. They gave us a bathroom for a discount & we went to the pub one night too. The tours ARE as cheap as they are on the street so excellent value. The people here like to chill out & have a good time, & make sure their guests are happy :o) The most pretty rooftop in town too, bright, colourful, with cushons, tables & hammoks. 100 per cent!

This hostel is really great & is great value. The breakfast is quite impressive, chocolate crossiant, ccrnflakes & milk, omlette, bread rolls, cheese, orange juice, tea. Also ziggy is really helpful& no pushy. Quite a central location. A little tricky to find the first time, but once you get there the first time, easy to find again.

The staff at the Sherief hostel were warm and kind, always ready to help especially Juyan, the receptionist, and Imad the owners brother. We were invited to a birthday party on the roof top where we were made welcome.
It is in a good location waliking distance to the Luxor temple amd the railway station
The rooms are clean. Should there be any tenchnical hitch Hussein the carer will come immediately to help
The hostel rate is cheap as breakdast and internet use is included
I shall definitely come here again and reccomend this place to anyone that comes to luxor.

Sherief has a great staff that do their best to please their guests. Hostel is clean, and has a laid back atmosphere. There is also a great central location. I enjoyed my stay here, although the bar on the roof wasn't what I was hoping for. I would recommend this to anybody who's travelling through Luxor.

The roof top garden was an excellent feature along with the breakfast. Location was excellent near to all of the main attractions & can book tours through the hotel at a reasonable price too. Ziggy & Amro most friendly & will definitely use the hotel again in October.

The Bob Marley rooftop is just amazing and the Hamac is the perfect place to relax after a hot day around all the sites.

I would not recommend this hotel to a single women travelling alone purely because I was hassled by one of the staff members. I always seemed to be approached when I was alone and out of earshot from other tourists. For this reason I did not feel 100% safe in the hotel. I did discuss this with the owner and he reassured me I would be safe, the staff member also apologised to me personally. Maybe if you are a group of people you will feel fine. On another note the hostel did help me out with train tickets when they were unobtainable and their tour to valley of the Kings/Queens etc was with a great guide and price was reasonable but could be done cheaper on your own. The bathrooms were wet and slippery, slightly dangerous and the locks on all the doors needed to be fixed. I got locked in the bathroom several times.

Nice Bob Marley roof top terrace. Chilled out and cool beer. Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff..Recommendation to other backpackers.
